Rosco #3313 Tough Minusgreen Fluorescent Sleeve T12 48"are an efficient and comparably inexpensive way to control fluorescent lighting - the most difficult lighting to shoot under. In addition to color temperature control, sleeves give you the freedom to create many interesting colors and effects. Another major advantage of sleeves is that they help protect against potential lamp breakage by minimizing the dangers of shattered glass.

These polycarbonate tubes feature the specific color effect inserted inside the tube. These filters are available in many colors and sizes.

[Tube Sleeve] I actually thought the plastic tube guard would be red,not a clear plastic tube guard with a film like red insert.Thinking about it now I can see the cost would have been much more that way.The only experience I've had with tube guards was in the military were the tube guard itself was red.The fluorescent lights the tube guards are going on are being used as a backlight for my flatscreen TV.Cutting the sleeves to the length of my bulbs was tricky because of the flexible red film like insert,but I made it work and am very satisfied.Having various backlight colors makes TV viewing at night more enjoyable and is easier on the eyes. 5

[Rigid Plastic] Soft light is all the rage these days, and I like mine nice and spread. Sometimes I stack it, flip it and reverse it, C47 that sucka to a light and go. Makes all the ladies just look beautiful. They like it and so do I. Rosco's my dawg. 5

[Rigid Plastic] Good coverage and tools wash off in soap and warm water. Always do your UV paint jobs in UV lighting so you know what your final product will look like of course. 5
