A: I don't know. I'm sure Epson has profiles available. I used Epson's profiles with an R3000 for a while. I've since let the printer manage the colors and it has been more accurate than using profiles. It works well using a Mac.

Q: 6. I just purchased this paper for use with my Epson SureColor P600. I cannot get the paper to go through the printer. I have followed the printer instructions for fine art paper. Is this paper not suitable for the Epson SC P-600?

A: The Epson Surecolor P600 does support this thickness, I would make sure you use the rear feeding tray, that is the one to use for thicker paper.

Q: 7. Is this paper able to be folded to achieve a crisp fold while being mounted on to a wood block?

A: Your results may vary when folding.

A: No, the Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper (13 x 19", 20 Sheets) BH #EPVFASB20 is only printable on one side.

A: No, it is not listed as double-sided.

Q: 10. When using Epson's Velvet Fine Art Paper how do you tell which side to print on?

A: Epson packages the paper inside of a strong cardboard container and inside a strong plastic sleeve. The clear sleeve is marked with Print this Side . So one will know which side to print. It is wise to keep the paper in the right order and inside of sleeve. If by chance one needs to identify which side to print, put the paper near a strong light source - up close at a sharp angle. The printable side will have a finer even texture than the back which will have a slightly more coarse texture with a faint screen pattern. Also the printable side is slightly whiter that the back. One can gauge this whiteness by laying another piece of velvet paper on and comparing.

[3.7 lb] Kentmere luster is a staple in my darkroom. While I tend to use Illford's papers for final work, the Kentmere is terrific for test prints, contact prints and the occasional final print. I would rate its normal grade at 2.5, so it's a bit more contrasty than Illford's normal grade. Also it's faster, requiring about 20 percent less exposure time than Illford materials. 5

[Multigrade] I experimented with numerous photo papers before I settled on Kentmere. It is very predictable and works well with the Ilford contrast filters. The blacks are deep and the whites are crisp. All in all an excellent photo paper. 5

[Multigrade] This paper works great for paper negatives. It has a higher ISO rating than Ilford and the fine luster is like a pearl finish. The results are indistinguishable from Ilford MGIV pearl paper. 5

[Multigrade] RC paper is good and fast when making prints for class and just for yourself, its easy to use and handle in the dark room, prints look good on them after the process is done 5
