Q: 2. Is there a specific developer (e.g. D-76) that is suggested for this film?

Q: 8. What is this used for and how?

A: This 100' roll of ISO 400 B&W film is made to be used in a bulk film loader - B&H # LE63000 - along with 35mm film cassettes - BH #KACP35 - to roll your own rolls of film. There is a significant price savings. You can get about 18 36 exposure rolls out of 100'. Ignoring the start up cost of the loader, and the often reusable cassettes, that prices out to $2.77/roll. That same 36 exposure film packed regular, is $4.29. In addition to the saving, you can roll short rolls. Want 10 exposures, you got it, 21 exposures , you got it. see chart for calculating frames per roll length: http://www.rogerandfrances.com/photoschool/ps%20how%20load%20bulk.html

Q: 9. Does this fit in a normal camera? Because 100' seems like a lot.

A: this is bulk film meant to be cut and loaded into film holders such as Kalt 35mm Cassette For Bulk Film: https://bhpho.to/2pPsUnw

Q: 10. When is the expiry date of the film

A: Current inventory in our 420 superstore has an expiration date of May 2022. Based on the batch received, inventory in possession might have varying dates around the same approximate time period.

[0.065 lb] An incredibly reliable film that always produces the results I want. Looks good at 400, 800, and even pushed to 1600. The grain is fairly minimal, but I like it. Depending on who develops it it can have a bluish tint, but real professionals can get a perfectly clear black and white image that looks great. Perfect for both beginners or experts looking to experiment.

[1] I've shot several bulk rolls of this film and I have no complaints. I fact, I have a hard time seeing why I'd want to spend almost twice as much for film, that, to me, doesn't look noticeably better than this film.

[127.0 µm] This has been called the poor mans HP5, but that seems unfair. This is a fantastic film in its own right. Like HP5, you can make this look like whatever you want to. Get the tri-x look, get the low contrast look. Push it with Diafine to 800, use it for street with HC-110, Great range, great look great price. Always in my fridge.

[0.065 lb] Well firstly, the price was great. Perfect for me or any student trying to afford a photography studio class. The processing went very well and negatives produced great prints. I have nothing bad to say at all. I will buy this film again!

[1] The Kentmere Film is better than the Ilford that I used in my photography class last semester. I talked my classmates into buying Kentmere for this semester, and they are very pleased with the film.

[400] I really like this film for the price it lays flat and very easy to scan. I have probably shot over 100 rolls and really liked all of the photos I got from Kentmere Pan 400. the camera that I mostly use is a Canon Elan 7ne and it exposes the film really well.

[400] A solid performer considering the cost. Yes, a somewhat flat response curve, but isn't that what you want from a negative? I use it for my kids.
