[30 lb] From an installers point of view, this screen really is nice. Install a top and bottom rail and the screen slides over the rails for an easy installation. The screen snaps to the rear of the frame for a very tidy and clean cut appearance. High quality frame, packaged well, easy to install... a good deal all the way around.

[16:9] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen.

The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation.

Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero!

The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture.

A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch.

[16:9] We used the screen at our annual and special town meeting and found that it was better than anticipated. the powerpoints were projected so all could see no matter where they sat at our meeting. I couldn't be happier and worth the price.

[106" (2.7 m) ] The screen functions as described. we used the additional brackets to mount the screen to a concrete wall. The mechanical parts of the screen are smooth and easy to use!

[ Front] great value, I looked all over for a large screen for a decent price and landed on this one. It had a little tag that said it self-retracts slowly and it doesn't but that was not a feature I was counting on anyway, it has a string to help it retract cautiously. would definitely recommend this one if you want a big screen on a budget! Takes 2+ people to mount, its pretty heavy when you're on a ladder!

[Tensioned ] There was some concern that the screen would not get here in time for an event. After contacting the customer service they assisted in getting a tracking confirmation. It arrived in the nick of time.


I was surprised that the model had some features to the leg structure that we were not expecting. It made it very stable and user friendly.

[16:9] Screen is being used in a 40 x 40 foot room with a 7.2 theater system. The projection screen is over the stage and is long enough to extend down and up out of the way when not in use. If the light were not in the way, I could have moved the screen even higher.
