[Belt Loop] I've been in need of one of these for years!� I adore my Kirk BH3 Ball Head!

[Empty] Not too big to be obtrusive, yet big enough to hold a good amount of stuff - measurer, blower, screwdriver, Leatherman, pads, pens, etc. Everything I need fits in there, and I like the side loop for the tape rolls.

[9.6 x 6 x 1"] This is my third one in twenty-one years. After about ten years of wearing it every day they start to look a bit worn, but no seam rips or holes. Getting ten years of practical use out of any product is amazing. Porta Brace is always quality stuff. I use this pouch to hold my phone, flashlight, Leatherman, Sharpie, and an ink pen. The most basic tools to survive any production, and life, right at my side.

[Empty] When I saw this little pouch as an accessory to my new Kirk BH-3, I jumped at the chance to purchase it. I have been using what I think is a much older BH-3 for the past ten years, and each time I prepare for a long haul trip I wrap the ball head in terry towels or bubble wrap and secure with a fat rubber band. Not pretty, or convenient. This pouch is terrific, and offers the protection the Kirk ball head deserves, and is easy to put on and take off. Nifty.

[Empty] Great size, love the built in light (it has flashing mode for some reason, just if you need to give someone a seizure on a film set?)

I have always wanted this Porta Brace bag but kept talking myself out of it. I finally pulled the trigger on buying one and I'm glad I did.


Sometimes I have a small lens in it if i am shooting an event with a smaller camera, but on a full set I kit it out with all the tools I'll need. for camera department.



If you are on the fence about it, do it.

[Empty] The package came on time and with everything except the second roll of gaff tape. I only realized there were supposed to be two rolls while writing this review. It only arrived with one roll.
The belt is well built and designed with the gaffer in mind. Everything attaches really securely with a double/triple velcro system. The variety of pouches and hooks are nice. I have used one of these in the past so when it went on sale I took the chance to purchase it and I am super pleased. There are lots of small compartments in the small pouch to stay organized and have lots of tools. The second pouch is large and open to be able to hold a variety of larger things. The fabric and stitching are quality work. I am looking forward to filling it and using on set.
