A: We use Photo Black with this paper and get great results. I have never tried matte black but it might have a nice effect.

Q: 2. Is this paper double sided and can I print a forty page booklet on it that would close? If not, can you recommend a semi gloss paper that will work with an inkjet printer that would be good for a booklet of that size?

A: This paper is not double sided. It has only one printable side. I am not familiar with any double sided inkjet paper. Best of luck!

A: This is considered a glossy finish.

Q: 4. Is this size roll length compatible with a Canon IPF6350?

A: Yes, If yours is a 24 inch width printer. But You need the roller with the smaller roll diameter, which we had to purchase to use the paper. Our normal roll diameter is 4 and the luster paper had a 2 roll diameter. So the cost of that was around $80-100 from Canon.

A: The Canon Premium RC Photo Luster Paper (255gsm) for Inkjet - 24 Wide x 100' Long is compatible with the IPF8100.

A: this paper is slghtly heavier @ 260 gsm vs' the Epson Luster @ 240 gsm. Also tend to be a brighter white & it's only 2/3'rd of the price of the Epson ($95.xx vs' $149.xx).

A: Yes it does have a 3 core.

Q: 9. Does this paper lie flat (with no curl) after printing?

A: The Epson Premium Semimatte Archival Photo Inkjet Paper (24" x 100' Roll) will originally curl up, but after a while, you start to see it lay flat after printing. Now depending on the thickness of the paper and how long it has been rolled up, the paper will not become 100% flat.
