Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the maximum size filter that can be held by the filter pouch.

A: The maximum filter size that fits in the Op/Tech USA Lens/Filter pouch is 82mm.

Q: 2. will this pouch work for the new Nikon Z 100-400mm lens? concerned more with width/diameter than length. thanks

A: Yes. The following unit is designed and made to support large lens with a hood such as a 70-200 f/2.8 but will also support the Nikon z 100-400 lens.

Q: 3. How wide is the webbing that makes up the belt loop on the back? Would it slide through a MOLLE loop?

A: The belt loop is too wide for a Molle loop.

Q: 4. How deep is the case? I have a Tamron 150-600 that is just over 12 inches long and need a case for it. If this won't fit, do you have a suggestion?

A: The Spider Camera Holster Spider Pro Large Lens Pouch is ideal for lenses smaller than the Tamron 150-600, such as a 70-200mm f/2.8. For the Tamron 150-600mm, the Lowepro Lens Case 13 x 32cm will be an optimal lens case: http://bhpho.to/1kLzgv1

Q: 5. Would a round 67mm fit, albeit tightly, or is 62mm truly the max size? I'm hoping to keep the case size small.

A: I pulled a 67 from another case and it fits just fine and is not tight at all.

Q: 6. Does the (70-200 2.8 is II) TRIPOD RING need to be removed to fit into this case?

A: Hi there Ronicka!.. The SpiderPro large lens pouch was designed to solve the issue of inverting the lens shade - it is designed then to accommodate the lens WITH the lens shade on. In this setup, the lens collar will situate right above the rim of the pouch - not inside the pouch. The end of the lens will show above the rim, making pulling the lens out easier, but the lens is very secure and will not come out unless you open the zipper. Only If you choose to NOT use the lens shade, then you will have to remove the collar.Let me know if this helps in answering your question,If not, please contact us directly for video/imagesBest, S

Q: 7. Can I stick a filter without a lid in this? Or can it get scratched?

A: Yes, you can. There are soft dividers on the inside separating the filters, so you can put them inside without a hard case.

Q: 8. Can I fit a 4x5.65" filter with tray?

A: Most 4x5.65" filters with a tray would not fit in the Ruggard Five Pocket Filter Pouch.

Q: 9. Will this fit the Canon 50 1.2?

A: Hi Jodi, Thank you - our Medium Lens Pouch should handle this 50mm just fine!Best,S

Q: 10. Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?

A: The Ruggard Five Pocket Filter Pouch (up to 4 x 6") does not include a shoulder strap. It does have a touch-tab belt loop.

[Black] What can I say, keeps my filters organized well.

[Black] I have used this filter pouch for 3.5 years now. It works great for the 37mm filters I use on my backup camera (Olympus PEN E-PL9 with a 14-48mm kit lens). It holds my filters and several backup lens caps (I loose these things a lot HA!). Protects the filters very well in my backpack and in my pocket, and I have never had a filter come loose and fall out on me.

[Handheld Only] I've been using it to carry 4 of my filters. Have not run into any issues with lint/dust/smudges, at least not yet.

[Black] I have two of these for different filter sizes. It's an easy way to organize my neutral density filters according to their intensity and much better than carrying them in separate holders. I often shoot in inclement conditions and early/late light and it's great to know exactly where each filter is. An inexpensive addition to your gear that makes my photography have a more efficient workflow.
