Soft Side Cases are designed to carry your equipment around in the luxury of an extra lightweight case. They are great for the photographer who doesn't need the air shippable protection of Lightware's standard cases. Made from 1/2 in Duralight. Unlike the other cases in the Z series, this case does not open to lie flat.

Q: 1. Will a Nikon 600mm f/4E FL ED VR lens with a Lenscoat lens cover on it fit in this case? Can the lens be inserted or removed without peeling back the Lenscoat covering? Thanks!

A: Yes , you don't have to peel back the Lenscoat covering

Q: 2. Will a Nikon 200 - 500mm zoom lens fit this ?

A: I don't know for sure, but I have a Nikon 300 2.8, which fits in without needing the top section. So it the lens is no more than 60-70mm additional length, it should work OK.

Q: 3. I am considering this case for a Canon 400mm f4 DO lens and 5DMIV body. If it fits the 300 mm 2.8, I'm assuming it will fit this as well?

A: I have 5D MIII and 300 2.8 IS and is a tight fit. Cant use above with 1.4 extender. Quality case. We

Q: 4. Will this case fit the new Canon G7X mark ii? I like the vertical drop feature.

A: Yes, the Canon PSC-3300 Deluxe Soft Case would be compatible for use with the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II Digital Camera. It would be a snug fit, but it is compatible for use with the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II Digital Camera.

Q: 5. Will a Nikon Z9 and a Nikkor Z 600mm f/4 TC lens fit in this case?

A: Unfortunately, the Lightware Z600 Long lens 600 Case is too small for the Nikon Z9 attached to the Nikkor Z 600mm f/4 TC lens.

Q: 6. How close to 38" is the interior? I'd like to use for a light kit that has a 38.5" soft box frame (collapsed) that has to fit inside.

A: This case has interior dimensions of 38.0 inches, it is just a bit too small to handle a 38.5 inch frame. The next size up from Lightware is the C6050 Flip Lid Cargo Case (Black), B&H # LIC6050, which has an interior dimension of 50 inches. https://bhpho.to/2ebhlC8

Q: 7. Can this bag fit Canon 300mm 2.8 with hood attached to lens? Or just the lens? And can it fit also Canon R3 with 1.4 x extender?

A: The Lightware Z300 Long lens 300 Case's camera pouch is a little too small to accommodate the Canon EOS R3 Mirrorless Camera (B&H #CAER3), but the Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens with the lens hood detached will fit well inside the bag.

Q: 8. Will it fit the Canon G9X and does it come in brown as opposed to black? Or are there any brown leather cases made specifically for this camera?

A: This case will fit the G9X, however the PSC-3300 is available only in black. Unfortunately, there are no cases currently in brown leather made for the G9X.

Q: 9. Will this bag hold a tripod with a Wimberley WH-101 gimbal head?

Q: 10. This is listed as an accessory for the SX700... does it fit that camera?

A: I don't know about the SX700 camera. My PSC-3300 case accommodates my SX170 camera nicely, snug fit of course, but works great for carrying the SX170 on my belt. Should also work with SX160. Will only fit the camera, no extras. If the SX700's dimensions are NO LARGER than the SX170 it would work fine.

[Black] This is without a doubt the very best option for storing and transporting strobe kits, this one is my third for DynaLite equipment: 2000, 1600, and 1000 power packs and strobe heads; we been using Lightware camera and strobe cases for many years; they are well made and durable offering maximum protection for photo equipment. 5

[Black] We have always used lightware cases for all our equipment needs. We needed a new one for new Dynalite lighting equipment. Same great quality and the size is perfect for 3 packs and 3 heads with cords. 5

[Zipper] I purchased three of these for some Speedotron packs that I own and they are a perfect fit for the pack and power cord. Sturdy sides with a good quality zipper. The padding is just enough for regular travel to locations and studios. I would not use them for airline travel. I have always been happy with lightware products and these did not disappoint. 5

[Zipper] I've been using Lightware cases for my entire pro photog career. This case has been around for a while but its still great! I use it for a strobe pack and its build well enough for the roughest assistant. Love the case and highly recommend. 5

[Black] I use the S1010 for transporting a Ranger RX, together with a spare battery case, charger, skyport, and also a Ranger head, 7 reflector and head extension cable inside a Lightware Large Head Pouch (H7020) lying horizontally across the top. In this configuration, everything fits snugly and is very well protected. Since the Ranger RX Speed A/S is taller than the Ranger RX, you cannot lay the Large Head Pouch across the top, so I usually use the T3040 Strobe Head Case for the A/S. Another nice thing about the S1010 is that two Lightware Large Head Pouches fit perfectly if you remove the center divider. I use this to carry a second Ranger head and a Ranger RX Ringflash. 5

[7.79 lb] After searching on line for a reasonably priced case for a Sony RX100, I settled on this Canon unit. It snugly holds an RX100, and that's what I bought it for. I like the belt loop and the magnetic clasp. 5

[Yes] I put two Quadra packs and 3 heads in this case - and travel around town and check it on planes. This means I need a separate case for stands, umbrellas, softboxes etc, which I prefer to trying to jam all kinds of equipment into one big unwieldy box type case - and also means you can carry larger stands and modifiers cause that second case is more flexible. This was custom order so it took quite a while to arrive. The Lightware products seem well made. Time will tell. 5

[Handle] I have one of these for a Canon SX1600 and have liked it for a couple years. I got a new Panasonic DC-ZS70 and they are almost identical in size so it fits perfectly. Very happy with them for both. 5
