I've been using these racks for years in my real life as an A/V contractor. I suspect this would be equally applicable if you're an IT professional or anyone else who has a need for high quality rack enclosures.

The SRK Rack is available in 8, 12, 16 and 21 space models. It is all metal and is furnished with high quality wheels, one pair of wheels is equipped with locks for stability. It is shipped unassembled, all assembly parts are included so you can build the configuration you need. Rack rails are installed front and rear and are reversible for use with either U.S. standard rack screws or European thread screw sizes. Both sets of rack screws are included!

It does not come with doors, front or rear. If you need a rack with security doors, you must upgrade to the SRK Pro series. The Pro series is a little more heavy duty and security doors are available.

In summation, the SRK Universal Rack series is absolutely the best value I've found. It is only slightly more expensive than the economy racks that are available, it is all steel construction, has rack rails front and rear and a great set of wheels.

I purchased this with the stand to help in routing cables. I probably did not need it because I only ended up routing two cables through it, but I do like having the option to route cables between the sides without them draping down. It's very solid and easy to install.

I bought one of these stands nearly 10 years ago and have enjoyed the quality, looks, and performance ever since. I broke one of the shelves (my fault) last year, and wound up buying another complete unit to use for a second system (and donate 1 piece of replacement glass). Happy to say the build quality, engineering, appearance, and performance are just as impressive as they were years ago. Too often, products get "value engineered" to the point where they are no longer anywhere near as well-made as older versions. Very happy to say that is NOT the case with this Sanus. Buy it and enjoy it for years!

This is by far our best selling A/V stand. This stand looks great, is easy to put together and it fits a wide range of popular sized televisions. I should have written this review a few years ago. I purchased this rack approximately 3 or 4 years ago to house my amplifier, turntable, CD, cassette deck and satellite TV receivers. My TV is mounted on a Sanus wall mount which, by the way, is also outstanding. The rack meets audiophile explectations. It's heavy enough to be impervious to accoustic room vibrations, has nice heavy glass shelves which help in this regard, also, has plenty of open space to help a high-end (McInthosh) amplifier breathe and looks very attractive in a living room or anywhere else, for that matter. Why Sanus discontinued this God only knows! I suspect advertising with high-end audio equipment dealers would have kept this unit in production for much longer.

I have had both for 10 years and they look new and Rich in color. They are Precision made! Very good quality!

I don't know how they do it for the money! This exceeded expectations and is more rigid and solid than I expected. I have it loaded up with some heavy drawers and a rack mounted PC, etc. It is certainly up for the task and I imagine this will be in service for years to come!

This is a heavy duty steel rack that rolls very easily. I use it for my scanner and printing paper storage. The assembly instructions were a little confusing. It is hard to find a rack this size. I can roll it under my desk for storage.

I needed a portable rack to move around the house without spending a lot of money. I have several heavy amps to move. The Sampson rack fit the price range for something I wasnt going to use a lot but the quality would allow for some heavy use rather easily. It was easy to put together and is versatile in allowing configuration for USA or European spec equipment. It is sturdy and the casters are smooth in operation. I must have missed the fact that it came with a good supply of rack screws and washers (both USA and Metric again), so I ordered another box of them that was totally unnecessary. I dont think you can beat this rack for the money and if you dont like advertising for Sampson, you can always put the blank plate on the back side. There is no recess in the mounting rails so your equipment sticks out the front and dont count on adding a door later.

The stainless steel sink pan replaced a somewhat battered fiberglass sink. It arrived sooner than I expected. It looks great and it seems to be very well built, It dropped easily into the same Arkay sink stand that previously held the fiberglass sink that it replaced, and fit perfectly. The sink pan was quite expensive, but I now look forward to many years of trouble free use.
