The Tiffen 5x5" Fog 1/4 Filter for Cinematic Effectssimulates the effects of natural fog or mist by creating a soft glow around highlights and lowering the overall contrast of the scene. There can also be a softening effect due to how the light interacts with the subject matter. The 1/4 density provides a greater amount of fog effect than the 1/8, but less than the 1/2, and requires no exposure compensation.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 5 x 5" / 127 x 127mm.

A: The filter on the right is a polarizing filter and rotates in a filter holder to achieve the polarizing effect.

A: his is factory boxed by Allen & Heath.

Q: 6. Can the mix in the usb out of the ZEDi10 FX replace my iOS camera mic for live streaming? I have been using an Apple camera connector cable with no luck so far.

A: Yes, you can use the usb out for streaming. ZEDi can be used like an interface in DAWs as well recording individual channels. To my knowledge, OBS only supports a stereo sum of a usb audio signal. If that’s still the case, you could use a ZED10fx if your intent is only for streaming and not recording. The usb put on the ZED10fx sums to stereo over usb

A: According to the manufacturer, the lights in the Falcon Eyes SO-68TDX II 2-LED Soft Light with Special Effects Kit does not need a fan as they do not generate much heat. As such, the light fixtures should be silent.

[Glass] A fellow bugshutter happens to live in an area with a lot of morning fog and cranks out great landscapes thereupon. I've tried everything short of axle grease on a clear filter to get the same effect, as it's not often foggy in Western, PA and there are tons of landscapes that would look great with it. Researching effects filters, I cam upon this baby and it seems to do the job pretty well--particularly with images and subjects under infinity. It won't completely replicate a foggy day, but if you don't want to pay for fog-effect plug-ins for you image management software, it's a great way to go. Doubles as portrait diffuser as well. Worth a look for the digital camera user. And it's a Tiffen--my own go-to for 40 years. 5

[Glass] This is a fun way to add some colorful creative effects to your instant photography. The look can range from subtle to very pronounced depending on your subject and which filter you use from this pack. I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this. Included are two photos I made, one with the Austin filter and one with the Northern Lights filter. 5

[Glass] I'll be using this filter in a feature film we'll be shooting in about a month. It does exactly what Tiffen said it would do in their description. In our test shots it created a very nice fog effect. If you where to be shooting with any type of breeze you would have problems using a traditional fog machine. However with the fog filter you don't have to worry about the fog being blown away. Great effect. 5

[Glass] I purchased this Double Fog 3 filter for astrophotography using a wide and fast lens. I have not used the filter yet, other than to screw it on the camera lens, but have read many reviews on astrophotography sites that recommend this exactly filter to accentuate the brighter stars in the sky for a more interesting photo. B&H shipped this piece quickly and with great packaging care. I inspected the filter and it appears perfect. 5
