[0.55 lb] I am using it to record. The fact that it can record to a standard .MOV or .MP4 file allows me to hand a copy of the event on an SD card, to my customer as soon as the event it over. No transcoding, no wasted time. I love it! The best part is that I record 2 copies, one to the SD card and another to a network mapped drive. Talk about back up to my back 5

The look can range from subtle to very pronounced depending on your subject and which filter you use from this pack. I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this. Included are two photos I made, one with the Austin filter and one with the Northern Lights filter. 5

[1' / 0.3 m] Very nice encoder, easy web configuration interface. Crestron module available for control but I had to edit the module to correct command syntax, but once I did that no have full control over both start/stop streaming & recording with full status feedback from the unit. Works great on the bench- time will tell with customer as they start using it. I do notice that 100% white values going into the encoder don't encode out at 100% but slightly less- like a very light gray... Did not find any menu settings inside the unit that could be adjusted to fix this... but probably only noticeable with static graphic content such as a spread sheet or word document. Recording worked well with class 10 sd card, attempted with usb stick but I didn't have a high performance stick around to use- worked OK with the usb stick I used. Setting up with youtube and facebook was easy- seemed to handle both RTMP and RTMPS just fine. I even was able to use the youtube pairing feature without any issues. Overall so far I am please with the device! 5
