[6 x LEDs] I own 4 of these, having bought one for each room, for convenience, as it is now a necessity if I'm to read at all. The led lights make all the difference, as I can read no matter how poor the room lighting is. I especially appreciate that the unit uses easily available affordable AAA batteries rather than the expensive coin type. I also like that it allows me to continue to use my iPad on sites that don't pinch and zoom, I just don't need to turn on the led light. It's also light in my hand as I have grip problems, and has a great shape that makes it easy to grip too. Obviously the design was well thought out If I coul ask for anything, it would be that you offer a higher powered model in the probable even that my vision would continue to worsen. I'd definitely recommend giving these as a gift.

With the iPhone fixed on a makeshift stand and using a headphone volume control to release the shutter, the lighted 5x LumiLoupe enables a remarkably sharp and detailed photo. I use the photo to do a much magnified, side-by-side comparison with reference material.
