[8.8 x 3.85 x 2"] This works nearly as well as the stat Null, but without the Polonium. Very little spotting to do after a B&W scan on either Nikon IV or a supercoolsacan 8000. Of course, fr color it's still worth a pass through even though digital ICE cleans things up quite nicely. But, if maximum sharpness is what you're after, turn off ICE, clean the neg, and scan away!

[0.645 lb] Had been using anti-static cloths but had concerns about possible scratched and length of life. This is smaller then I anticipated but works well for 35 mm film and negatives, able to make several passes quickly. Results are good, follow up with air compressor and airbrush. Hope to use it also for 4x5 but it will take additional passes to cover entire image area. Like that it can be cleaned to preserve function.

[0.645 lb] I have a pair of 32 monitors in my studio that get used heavily every day. I bought this product to keep these clean as my studio is connected to a manufacturing facility that is very dirty. This product effectively cleans my monitors without harming the surface or discoloring the monitor.

[0.645 lb] I'm in the process of scanning 8-10K feet of 8mm home movies from the '40s thru the '70s. I quickly learned cleaning the film with a cotton glove or a micro fiber cloth was scraping a lot of colorful stuff off the film. I asked B&H support for a recommendation - and this is what they suggested. Excellent choice! I've since done a few hundred additional feet - just stand the Ministat next to the Wolverine Pro and let the film run through during the scan. Dust and fibers no longer enter the scanner. Resulting digital files look better, too, than the first few hundred feet.


I haven't fiddled with the silver foot base. It may be magnetic or it may have an adhesive surface under a peel off tab. I don't need a permanent mount for what I'm doing - so no opinion on the base. Also, Ministat has smaller versions of this device, but this is fine - I'm supporting B&H and it will be a good size when I begin scanning 35mm slides.

[8.8 x 3.85 x 2"] I've been using Kinetronics anti-static brushes, but I do a lot of high-volume scanning of film and slides and wanted something even better. I wondered if this was really $600 better, but bit the bullet and bought one. I just sent my first roll of 35mm film through this before camera scanning and I'm shocked at how fast and effective this is. If this saves me even a minute per roll of spot-healing dust blobs in Lightroom, then it will pay for itself within the year!
