Pairing a relatively low magnification with large objectives, Nikon 7x50 Aculon A211 Binoculars Blackare outfitted with enhanced light-gathering capabilities, a large exit pupil, and long eye relief, which work together to produce an optic that is optimized for use in challenging light conditions.

The light-gathering ability offered by the 50mm objectives helps to ensure bright and clear views at dawn and dusk, or when peering into dense underbrush, while the large exit pupil ensures complete coverage as pupils open and dilate as light fades—which keeps views bright and clear without vignetting. Anti-reflection multicoated aspherical lenses, made with environmentally friendly Eco-Glass elements, complement the BAK4 Porro prism light path to deliver high-contrast images with enhanced depth of field without edge distortion, as well as accurate color fidelity. All these features work together to present users with an immersive observational experience.

The Aculons' sculpted rubber-armored housing is designed to fit naturally into the observer's hand and provide secure non-slip handling. They are offered here in a subdued black color. Twist-up rubber eyecups and a comfortable eye relief enable easy viewing without eye fatigue, especially during long observation sessions. For those who might experience arm fatigue from holding large-objective optics such as these, the binoculars can be tripod mounted using an optional tripod adapter. The combination of image quality and user-friendly design makes the 7x50 Aculon A211s a natural option for medium-range glassing in even the most challenging light conditions.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello just received my 7x35 binoculars. They are much larger than I thought I read on your site, "compact for a regular size binocular. My question is about the shadows being a brilliant blue. looking at a bird across in daylight all of the shadows cast were blue. Watching a bird fly above, the black wings were blue. Annoying as I want the true colors knowing it is a black bird. Why? is this a defect?

A: Its called Chromatic Aberration or Chromatic Distortion. Its the failure of a lens to focus all colors to the same point. To a certain point all lenses have this issue. Telescopes, binoculars and even camera lenses. Manufactures try to compensate for this with the uses of special coatings on the elements. Sorry but you will probably see less noticeable chromatic aberration with some higher end binoculars. Also Chromatic Aberration is most noticeable around dark objects or objects in the shade.

Q: 2. does it work well with eyeglasses?

A: it should, the viewing angles might be a little strange

Q: 3. With respect to my previous question and your answer regarding: Can the Nikon 847 Tripod connected / carry this Nikon 10-22 / 50 binoculars? and the answer: Yes, the tripod can support 4.4lbs and the binos weigh 2lbs. BUT my question is if the mechanical adaptors of both are the same, so the binocular can be attached to the tripod WITHOUT the need for additional adapter. Thanks in advance

A: You will need to use the included tripod adapter.

Q: 4. How do they come packaged? Do they come in a box?

A: The Nikon 8x42 Aculon A211 Binoculars (Black, Refurbished by Nikon USA) BH #RBNI8X42A211 • MFR #8245B come in a Nikon manufacture box with: Nikon 8x42 Aculon A211 Binoculars (Black, Refurbished by Nikon USA) Carrying Case Neck Strap 1-Piece Ocular Rainguard 2 x Objective Lens Cap Nikon Limited 90-Day Warranty

Q: 5. Does this come with a case?

A: Yes it has a case. The binoculars are OK for the money but not great, the diopter adjustment is very difficult to turn.

Q: 6. How long is the warranty on these?

A: The Nikon 8x42 Aculon A211 Binoculars (Black, Refurbished by Nikon USA) BH #RBNI8X42A211 • MFR #8245B has a Nikon Limited 90-Day Warranty

Q: 7. How much is the tax and shipping and handling?

A: You may calculate your actual shipping options/order totals by adding the items you want to a shopping cart. It will then list the shipping options, descriptions, ETA's and fees to your location.

Q: 8. What is the minimum focus distance?

A: The Nikon 12x50 Aculon A211 Binoculars have a minimum focus distance of 26.2 feet.

Q: 9. Is it made in Japan or China?

A: Country Of Origin: CHINA

Q: 10. how far can one see with them?

A: Hi Marjorie. These binoculars will magnify objects you are observing 7 times. In other words, the object will appear 7 times closer or larger. The optics used are very good and the image they produce is very clear. So if you combine magnification with a clear image, you will be able to make out detail you could not see with your eyes alone. So the question is not how far you can see but rather how much better you can see an object than with your eyes alone. For instance, with your eyes, you may see a bird in a tree 100 yds. away. With these binoculars, you will be able to tell the species of the bird. Hope this helps

[7x] These very nicely priced binoculars have already been great for birdwatching and stargazing. They are solidly built, easy to adjust and focus, and they come with a handy carrying case.

[Center] I was shocked by the old-fashioned Nikon quality. Clarity is top-rate, especially in low-light.

[7.1 mm] This is the 4th pair of Aculon binoculars that I own and just like the others, these are fantastic. Clarity is very good. Pretty light weight. The rubber armor feels very nice and gives you a solid grip. I love the 16x magnification. You really get a good product for the money with the Aculons. I mounted these on a tripod for viewing wildlife on our property and the kids love it! Great customer service from B&H too. I would gladly buy another pair of Nikons from them again.

[50 mm] Having used cheap Binoculars over the years, I was expecting more or less the same. However, I was NOT prepared for the awesomeness of this Nikon Binoculars. Very nicely boxed and packaged. Even comes with a black bag. Even the Lens cover was very nice. The quality of the black housing, rubberized I think was very nice. The finger stops, forward and aft, were nice, to ensure a firm grip. Nikon Strap. OK so I took it out in the City, Manhattan and WOW! ***** The things I saw blew me away. I could see the Tourists on the Empire State Building, clearly. I could see the relief's on buildings, clearly see the artwork, roof, gold roof's etc. etc. These Binoculars are clearly 5 Stars.

[2.805 lb] Love these! The adjustable eye cups make all the difference in sight and comfort. Can’t wait to take them on vacay.

[2.805 lb] With Pacific Northwest smoky seeing conditions worse than Beijing, setting up the telescope has not been a promising effort. A scan of the skies and sky-hopping to establish waypoints to space objects will have to do until the atmosphere clears up. These binoculars serve their function very well, and I know very well from 32 years in resource law enforcement what to look for in binoculars.
