Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Maximum width of cell phone it can support? Mine is 3-9/16- over 3.5" and with a heavy w/otter box.

A: The maximum stretching width on the Smallrig simorr Vigor VK-50 Vlog Kit is listed as 48.5cm.

Q: 2. can i blank this film in bleach so i can directly animate on it?

A: If you want to draw on blank film to do animation you need the frame marks. And bleaching it will leave you with a long roll of blank film.Best is to put this in a camera and shoot white paper and over expose it and then have it processed only. Then it will have the frame marks on blank film.

Q: 3. Will I be able to use this film in a Kodak Instamatic m6 Super 8mm camera?

A: Yes, IF the camera were usable. However, due to the fact that KODAK used neoprene drive gears on the main motor shaft, 99% of these have by now dried up and crumbled rendering the majority of Super 8mm cameras KODAK ever made unusable. My recommendation is to find another Super 8mm to use and forget trying to use the KODAK. Even IF it works, it WILL fail, often before you can finish the cartridge of film.

Q: 4. hello..Can you tell me on which position do i have in my camera when I using this kodak tri-x filmstock?..when i am filming outside do i have positin on daylight or artifical light position and which position for indors?..I am asking you becouse is black&white filmstock..

A: Daylight for outside, artificial for inside.

Q: 5. How long can I wait before development and before latent image is affected? Kodak states "ASAP', but that doesn't answer the ?.

A: Like most films including the Kodak Tri-X Black-and-White Reversal Film #7266 (Super 8, 50' Roll) the latent image is very sensitive. And it is best to process the film as soon as you can. There is no set time frame. But I would not go more than 2-3 weeks. Note depending on many factors like temperature and humidity it can accelerate the issue.

Q: 6. Hi! Will this work well in outdoor daylight too? Thanks!

A: Of course it will

Q: 7. Will this film work on a Bell and Howell One Nine 8mm camera?

A: It's a super8 filmstock not standard 8. So if you're camera is not super8 it will not work.

Q: 8. Does the Mic have a usb-c plug in to connect to the new Iphone 15 pro max?

A: The microphone included with the Smallrig simorr Vigor VK-50 Vlog Kit (Black), B&H # SM3510, connects via 3.5mm TRRS. In order to use it with a USB C iPhone 15, you will need to get the Apple USB Type-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter, B&H # APMU7E2AMA.

Q: 9. Hi I have a Bell & Howell Filmosonic XL 1230 super 8 camera. Does one have to use any type of filter when filming with this type of film i.e. Kodak 7266 Black and White Reversal film? It mentions Wratten number filters in the specs on this film but what happens if you don't use filters and are filters really needed for black and white? I am very new to super 8 and will begin making movies with super 8 next year. My camera has an internal orange filter which appears when the sun/daylight button is chosen but disappears when bulb is chosen. I read that today's films must be made with the bulb switch selected. Again, does this type of black and white film need any filters when making movies on it? Regards, Christopher G.

A: A filter can be used depending on what type of light there is: tungsten or daylight. with B&W there is a minimal difference, a bigger one with color.

Q: 10. Will this work to extend the cable for the FS7ii?

A: Any LANC extension cable can extend the Grip control cable. That included this one. Here are other LANC extension cables. https://bhpho.to/2HfsqAh

[White] Can't say much more than the headline says. =) It's L-4E6S, works great, uses good Neutriks, and there's a reason that everybody uses it. B&H has some of the cheaper prebuilt Canare cables, and great customer service to boot. If you want cheaper, you should probably consider making your own cables...

[White] Carnare may be the best manufacturer of professional cables in the audio and video industry. All their products are stars including the star quad XLRM to XLRF series. If you don't know what XLRM/XLRF means, you don't need this cable and good luck with communicating with tin cans and string. I would have added a photo, but it is what it is, is a cable without peer, a peerless cable unmatched in excellence.

[4] Cables are well-built with high quality Neutrik connectors and come at an unbeatable price. Quad cables from competetors are nearly double.

[1.95 lb] Buying black cables is a gamble. You'll be lucky to have 50% of them a year from now, if you tour. With all of the enthusiasm that happens after your set, you'll forget half of your gear on stage, or worse yet, the sound guy will err towards assuming it is the club's cables (Can't blame this decision either). I got these because they have a nice vintage 70's aesthetic, and haven't let me down to date.
