The black Switchcraft 1/4" Mono Jack Panel Mount Black Non-Lockingfrom Switchcraft 1/4" Mono Jack Panel Mount Black Non-Lockingare time tested #11 mono jacks mounted onto black plated flanges with pre-drilled mounting holes. The jacks mount onto your panel, providing a secure TRS jack with a neat appearance. Two 4-40 threaded screws are included for mounting to a panel.

A: The Deity DA35 Microdot to Locking 3.5mm Adapter (Black) (B&H # DEDA35) is not compatible with the Rode Wireless Go II.

Q: 2. Please, does anyone know if this will work with DPA microphones? Theirs is much more expensive.

A: This may work, but I would recommend using the DPA connector, if you are making the investment into a DPA mic.

Q: 3. The B&H spec says output is 1/8" TRS line-level unbalanced. However unbalanced is normally only 2 conductors (TS) not TRS right? Can anyone clarify the wiring of the output connector? Sennheiser's site and manual are useless in this regard.

A: Tip = hot Ring and Sleeve are shorted for sheild.

Q: 4. Does anyone know if this provides power to Lavs like the the Cos-11 that require power?

A: While I have not tried it with this particular Lav, Sennheiser did say that this systems wiring scheme is identical to the Sennheiser EW Evolution wireless and is compatible with all mics that are wired for the Evolution wireless.

A: The clip is just very tight but it does fit. just be careful not to damage the cable. great microphone.

Q: 9. I am trying to use this to connect my lav to the 3.5mm input on my Zoom H1N. It only comes through the left channel unless I slightly unplug it. Are there better microdot to non-locking 3.5 adapters for basic 3.5 inputs?

A: The DA35 adapter is intended for use with locking (threaded) 3.5mm TRS inputs like those on Sennheiser wireless transmitters and recorders with locking inputs such as the Tascam DR-10L and Zoom F2. It was not designed for use with a non-locking 3.5mm input which is why it is not working properly with your H1n. All of the Microdot to 3.5mm TRS adapters that we have available are also for locking inputs.

Q: 10. Will this mic work in the Canon 70D dslr?

A: Yes, this mic will work with the 70d.

[0.05 lb] I installed this jack in a bass guitar with active electronics and it worked flawlessly. I've used Neutrik's thick panel jacks before and they're only good for maybe 1 year of use before they wear out. Switchcraft jacks are worth every penny. 5

[4 x 4 x 1"] The threaded portion carries the threads all the way to the mounting surface plane, so this jack can be used in very thin panels. And unlike other jacks, this has a one-piece body from the mounting surface all the way down the threads, so there is no body crimp to fail. The sealed nature of the jack worked well in an accordion modification that required mounting in the air cavity. The shield contact was noisy at first, but a couple dozen plug insertions cleaned it up and its been quiet since. Overall very pleased with this unit. 5

[0.05 lb] If you play music live and really need reliable gear, your output jack is always the weak link in your expensive system. In the heat of playing don't you always step on your cable? Yes, you do. The switchcraft long panel mount jack can take the beating, yes, you will have to replace it every 1-2 years- I said years not months like most cheap output jacks. I have to replace mine every year-but, before I found the awsome panel mount, I replaced my jacks every 2 months or sooner. Do yourself a favor- don't be cheap- spring for the good stuff- this is the good stuff..... 5
