[FireWire port] A must have for gimbal work. I use this to power my bmpcc6k on my Ronin S. Because of the form factor it is impossible to swap out batteries without having to rebalance the camera on the gimbal. With this cable that is no longer necessary as now the 6K would now be powered from the Ronin! Not much more to say.

[FireWire port] This cable puts out 12v reliably and fits the proprietary Panasonic center-positive barrel connector. This connector can power the HCX 1500 Camcorder as well, which is what I bought it for. It might work with the HCX 2000 too.

[FireWire port] Does exactly what it is built to do. I use this with my FS5-M2 camera when I power my rig with AB batteries. The cord length is perfect for my requirements.

I haven't tested it to see if it will isolate power from other devices and/or prevent a back flow of unintended voltage/grounding. But when connecting it to my AB D Tap splitter, which is powering my Inferno recorder there hasn't been an issue. We'll see what happens when I plug in, and share power with a wireless mic, and if any noise/grounding is created.

With wireless mics and mixers/recorders you have to be careful about unintentional grounding when using a common battery to power multiple devices. Using an isolating power distribution system will keep voltage only going one way, so it doesn't seek a path of least resistance by traveling back on XLR connectors, creating noise or worse.

[12 V connector] A must-have if you have the BMPCC4K/6K. Super useful. Only drawback is that the Ronin's battery life tanks.

[12 V connector] Because of the large power capacity the Ronin-S holds, plugging my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cam 4K (which drains power like no business) directly into my Ronin-S gives me the most sufficient power option to my camera while using it on the Ronin-S. No need for external power which just adds extra weight and could become cumbersome.

[12 V connector] We are using the BMPCC 4k/Ronin setup for out church services and always had to do a battery change at the worst possible moment in the set. Now the Ronin charges the camera the entire service with a couple of bars left on the Ronin battery. We were looking into a v-mount setup until I found this cable and saved a ton of money and weight on the rig.

[FireWire port] It's a cable, it connected my camera to my Mac, it worked, not much more to say.

[FireWire port] Only place that i could find a firewire! So much more inexpensive then the alternative of buying a deck to upload footage from, thank you for the easy and way less expensive alternative. Works great and does its job.
