Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. This strap seems designed for right hand carry. Is there a version for left hand carry?

A: Works great both ways. Kinda universal

Q: 2. Would it be safe to screw this into the SmallRig cage for Fujifilm xt-4 and could I use any "-20 hole on the cage?

A: Yes, you can connect BlackRapid Cross Shot Breathe Camera Strap (Black) to your camera cage. You can screw down the BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe on any 1/4-20 threads that can offer a good balance when carrying your camera on the strap.

Q: 3. telephoto support?

A: Yes this model could hold a telephoto lens. The maximum weight it can hold up to is 15 lbs (6.8kg).

Q: 4. How long is the rubber shoulder pad? Thank you

A: Christian, the strap is 10 and 3/4 inches long. Very adequate. Hardware is very high quality. I love the strap. Michael

Q: 5. what size for a 5'9 man?

A: The smaller one. I'm 6'1'' and I use the smaller one at its tallest setting, so it'll work for you perfectly.

A: Yes, mine did

Q: 7. Can this ( the sling strap adapter) be used with the OP/TECH USA - Super Classic Strap-Uni Loop (B&H # OPSSUL MFR # 1001062)?

A: Lisa, an understandable question. The answer is yes , because you use the two sliding plastic connectors on the strap to connect to your camera, which leaves the two connectors at the ends of the strap to connect to your neck strap. customer Mark

Q: 8. The BlackRapid website says this strap is made of polypro webbing while this website says it is made of nylon. Which is correct?

A: I would go with what the Black Rapid site says, as I'm no expert on the differences. It is an excellent strap.

Q: 9. Can this be connected to the telephoto lens tripod plate ? I have a 600 mm lens and would like the support to be there rather

A: Yes, the BlackRapid Cross Shot Breathe Camera Strap screws into the tripod socket, which is commonly found on long lenses such as a 600mm.

Q: 10. I just ordered this strap and I'm worried about the FR-5 FastenR Breathe that comes with it. Is it really made from stainless? cus it seems like plastic material. thanks

A: Definitely not plastic. Not the one I bought. Best strap I ever owned.

[Black] As a unpaid, and unofficial spokesperson...I can say that I've put several photographers onto this strap system over the years and we all swear by it. I use it every day for hours on end, attached to my Z7 and 70-200. The price? Couldn't beat it with a stick.

[Nylon] Great ergonomics. Much better than a standard and even enhanced neck strap.

[Black] This sling is just what I was looking for. The wide shoulder supports weight comfortablt and doesnt want to slide off. The part that conects to the camera lets it gang out of the way and lets it come up fast.

[Black] I bought this for my wife to take on a whale watching trip. It was handy coupled with my Z6 and it allowed her to drop the camera when not needed. The screw-in loop is secure and sturdy, providing peace of mind. Overall, this is a good choice if you're not looking to spend a lot of money on a simple item.

[Black] Bought it half a year ago on a holiday when I forgot my old camerastrap. Since that day never used my old one again. Best things is how easy it is in use and the heavy weight it takes. Bad thing is it uses a plastic connection and does not include a safety strap for if the connection might break apart, that's why I use it in combination with the safety strap of my old strap.
@Case-Logic: change the plastic part that connects the camera to the belt for metal and include a safety-strap and you will have the best budget belt on the market!
