The SurgeX SA15 Standalone Surge Eliminator is engineered to protect independent audio and video equipment in any environment. This compact protection solution fits alongside standalone equipment, takes up minimal space, and is suitable for AV, security, and computer systems that are installed outside of a rack.
Featuring Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology, the SA15 provides premium protection for sensitive equipment that relies on audio and video performance. Unlike common protection solutions, the SurgeX protection technology is non-sacrificial and eliminates surge energy up to 6,000V, without producing harmful side effects such as ground contamination or common-mode disturbances that can degrade the performance of AV systems. With SurgeX, your connected equipment will be protected from destructive spikes, surges, and inductive transients that can cause disruptions and catastrophic damage.
When fitted with the optional mounting brackets, this standalone unit easily mounts where you need it. The SA15 is rated for 15A and has 2 industrial grade grounded AC receptacles. The unit features both common mode and normal mode Impedance Tolerant EMI/RFI filtering for a comprehensive power conditioning solution.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. What size Dtap to DC barrel do I need? On this page Atomos said 2.1mm, on their Cable page they said it is 2.5mm. Why isn't that just a part of the basic description?????
A: The barrel connector on the Atom X battery eliminator is 5.5 x 2.1mm. One would need a D tap to 2.1mm barrel connector such as Atomos D-Tap to DC Barrel Coiled Cable BH #ATOMDTPCB2 https://bhpho.to/3Eycd6b or Kondor Blue Coiled D-Tap to Locking DC 2.1mm Right-Angle Cable (16 to 50") BH #KODCTAP21LCK https://bhpho.to/3JoY1jL.
Q: 2. When installing a hard drive, can I burn the DVD to the hard drive, and then burn the hard drive to the 3 DVD recorders?
A: A optional hard drive will allow you to store frequently used disc images. You can load disc images from a DVD in a drive.
Q: 3. What cable do I need if my set up is Tiltaing Battery Baseplate 12V out to Shinobi? The D-tap cable is for the Camera.
A: This will require the DC to D-tap cable from Atomos (in addition to the battery eliminator)
Q: 4. does this comes with ATOMOS SHINOBI monitor? if not, will it work? i want to power the monitor with d tap
A: Hello Mateo, this does NOT come with the Shinobi as it has a Dummy to AC already. if you are trying to power via tap, you'll need to get this AtomX Battery eliminator.
Q: 5. Is it possible to connect this to a Tilta battery Plate with a 7.4 V output & use it to power a Shinobi 7?
A: The Atomos AtomX Sony L-Series Type Battery Eliminator requires the correct cable for power. If your Tilta plate has a d-tap with 7.4 VDC you can use this: Atomos D-Tap to DC Barrel Coiled Cable BH #ATOMDTPCB2 • MFR #ATOMDTPCB2
Q: 6. In response to: Hello Marc, the answer varies because it depends on which Atomos unit you use, it can be from 5.6 - 14.6v. the DC side is 2.5mm. I apologize for leaving that out. I assumed this one only fit the Ninja V but I guess it can be used on others as well. I have the Ninja V and I am hoping to use this battery eliminator along with a cable to connect to either the DJI Ronin S, OR, a battery plate with DC 12v barrel connector output. Are both of these options available and safe or which one is possible? My goald is to reduce the weight of batteries on my gimbal using both NinjaV and Canon EOS R. Thank you!
A: This product is designed to power the Atomos Monitor only and requires the Atomos Locking AC Power Adaptor, BH #ATOMPWR012. We are not aware of a way to connect this to the power output from a Ronin-S or a battery plate.
Q: 7. Can this unit edit in regular CD & CD+g modes?.
A: It can edit cd+r an cd-r. I never heard of cd+g
Q: 8. will this duplicator burn copies of duel layer dvd?
A: I don't have one of these, but the specs say that it can - "Supported Optical Discs CD-R, CD-RW, DL DVDR, DVDR, DVDRW" DL stands for dual layer.
Q: 9. To rephrase my question from yesterday, Thanks for the quick response, but that isn't going to work. My Tilta Battery Plate, https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=tilta%20battery%20plate&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=hist-ps uses Sony NPF style batteries to supply the BMPCC 4K 12v via a DC jack, & has another DC jack rated @ 7.4 V that I'd like to use with the Atomos battery Eliminator https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1493126-REG/atomos_atomdca001_atomx_battery_eliminator.html?sts=pi&pim=Y to power my Shinobi 7. Looking for a cable to achieve this. There is no D tap on the Tilta Battery Plate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to avoid having to use a V mount as this rig is used mainly for handheld & Ronin S work. Trying to keep it as light as possible. Thanks.
A: Hello Gregg, ah then this is different, we do have a 2.1mm already built in, but if you want to add another then yes of course this is fine, however im not 100% sure it can or connect. if the adapter is 2.1mm then it should work. this is the power requirement: Power Input voltage 6.2V - 16.8V Operating power 5.8V - 7.2V Compatible batteries 2 x NPF L series Built in battery No Battery Run time (Record) 5200mAh - up to 2hrs, 7800mAh - up to 3hrs Continuous power Dual battery slots DC in connector Locking DC jack Dtap Via optional DTap to DC cable
Q: 10. The specs say this machine burns at 24x. Is there an option to change the burn speed? (To prevent burn failures, Mac recommends burning DVDs at 4x.)
A: Yes...you do have the option to change the burning speed.
