The Peavey IPR2 2000 2-Channel Power Amplifier features 2-channel independent 4th-order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers and uses the DDT (Distortion Detection Technique) for virtually eliminating distortion. It features a resonant switch-mode power supply and is designed based on the high-speed IPR class-D topology that yields a high audio resolution and efficiency. The amplifier features detented input controls and speakON output connectors. Not only that, this lightweight amplifier also has individual signal pass 1/4” jacks on each channel.

A: The PSPVC6 does not increase volume; so maximum gain would be based on your amplifier's wattage.

A: An equalizer does not provide any amplification.

Q: 3. What rating is the included AC adapter? Looking for an answer like "9V, 1.0A, positive polarity". Cannot read the pictures!

A: The Mackie M48 Single-Channel 48V Phantom Power Supply uses a +9V DC power adapter which is included with purchase. There is no information provided for the amperage rating, but the manufacturer does specify in the user manual to "Only use the factory-authorized power supply that came with the M48."

Q: 4. Do the treble and bass controls work on the headphones output?

A: You should have no issues using treble and bass control when headphones are connected.

Q: 5. how many speaker loads in 8 ohms 15 inches diameter

A: The amp is rated at 4 ohms for 2 speakers. So at 8 ohms you can hook up 1 speaker.

Q: 6. Is the van speed variable and quiet at low speed.

A: The fan is fairly quiet...it speeds up to cool down as needed depending on output of power being used.

Q: 7. I am trying to connect my Shure Microflex MX412 to my Canon Vixia HF100. I know that I'll need an XLR to mini cable to finish the connection. Will this get me part way, meaning, if I hook my mic to this will this give me enough phantom power to work?

A: This will provide phantom power to xlr mics that require it. Always have a spare battery.

[12.2 lb] Great sound and quick response. Its a beautiful match to its sister pre-amps (mine is the AV7702MKII). I mostly listen to stereo music, but with the 7 channel amp, it can be excellent home theater. 5

[12.2 lb] Great product for a home theater system. Seamless integration with A/V separates. Allows upgrade of processor while maintaining a strong audio experience.
