The SurgeX SX1115RT Surge Eliminator & Power Conditioner has remote control capabilities for use in AC power distribution systems and can be interfaced with a sequential controller such as the SurgeX SEQ. Switched receptacles can be controlled with an applied voltage (5 to 30 VDC) or contact closure switch connected to the Phoenix connector on the back panel. The connector can also be used to cascade multiple units or provide status to a central controller.

The SX1115RT provides surge protection and power conditioning for audio, video, broadcast, and computer equipment. The units are 15A load-capable and have 8 industrial grade grounded AC receptacles (6 switched, 2 always on) plus a front-panel courtesy receptacle.

The unit features both common mode and normal mode impedance-tolerant EMI/RFI filtering, SurgeX ICE (Inrush Current Elimination), and COUVS (Catastrophic Over/Undervoltage Shutdown) for a complete power conditioning solution.

The SurgeX Advanced Series Mode technology is completely non-sacrificial. The zero let-through technology provides the most reliable protection available. It stops all surges up to 6000V (unlimited surge current) without producing harmful side effects such as ground contamination or common-mode disturbances.

A: No, the wheels are permanently attached to the base plate. [15 A @ 120 V] Radial has been my go to not only for DI boxes but for converting any signal to another. So why not try this??? Super solid like all Radial gear. LONG power cord to reach where it needs to. Loads of receptacles for my studio rack. Perfect!!! 5

[15 A @ 120 V] Before buying the Furman P-1800 PF R, I would always have nights where my guitar amp just didn't sound right. Varying electrical sources were killing the amp tone. This unit has eliminated this headache completely. The headroom and bite is steady and consistent now. You spend a lot on your musical gear. This helps you get the performance AND protection your gear needs. 5

[15 W @ no load] So I've read many articles and seen the videos about AC filters and wires so I knew something was going to happen to improve the AC signal going into my gear and that there would be an improvement in my instruments sound. But how much? Yeah I could hear the difference in my modest house in the burbs. If there was that much improvement in the fairly clean A/C power in the burbs then I'll be very pleased when at a venue and I get the same sound improvements there with much dirtier power going into it. Now I've also read the negative reviews of these types of filters. I'll say this....you have to have some discerning ears and some dirty power to hear the improvements with this unit. If your neighborhood has clean power you might not hear any improvement. But when at a gig and there is less than ideal (dirty) power you'll be very thankful. 5
