The Libec Professional Carbon Piping Tripod System with Floor-level Spreader for ENG (Electronic News Gathering) Setups includes the RHP75 Head with RSPlus counterbalance technology, RT50C Tripod, SP-2B Spreader and the RC-70 Case.

The RHP75 Fluid Head features the fully adjustable Continuous Counterbalance technology. It offers optimal counterbalance, as well as Balance Stabilizer Mechanism that prevents the slightest wobble on your image, while providing a smooth balancing system.

The Fluid Head features a 7-step pan and tilt torque switch that covers a wide torque range. The one-touch attachment and release ensures that the camera plate can be attached and detached with just a touch, enabling fast and easy setup. The Fluid Head comes with the PH-8B Pan Handle with rubber grip that can stop the camera precisely at any tilt angle.

The Fluid Head is capable of operating at temperature of -40°F. The Fluid Head features a 75mm diameter ball head. It is designed for use with ENG (Electronic News Gathering) cameras that can capture fast moving objects.

The tripod system is made using carbon piping, and has a payload capacity of 37.5 lb.

A: Libec 650EX does use a quick release system that is similar to Manfrotto 501PL. One can swap the plates between Libec and Manfrotto heads that use Manfrotto 501PL.

Q: 4. Can this handle a Panasonic UX camcorder and small teleprompter?

A: That will depend on how much the teleprompter weighs. This tripod has a 17.5 load capacity. The UX cameras weigh around 4-5 pounds, you will have another 12 pounds or so for the teleprompter with this tripod.

A: Correct, that video head will be removable.

A: Hello, most 75mm ball heads can be attached to this tripod. Recommended Libec heads include RH45D, RH25D, H38B. and ALX H. Note, tripods purchased as an itemized or individual unit do not include a spreader (mid level or floor level). A spreader is sold separately.

Q: 10. Does this come with a quick-release camcorder plate? (i.e. for an AG-UX90)

A: Yes, this comes with a quick release plate. Most tripods with greater than 2 lb capacity have them.

[Sliding plate] I have a Sony HVR Z7U. I contacted chat on line at B&H, gave them my purchase parameters and they suggested this tripod along with several others. It's a quick and easy set up, works perfectly for my needs, feels sturdy, but light and I'm looking forward to putting it to use. It fits nicely in the bag that came with it and will hold a few other extras as well. Wish it had a light for the level, but that's what little flashlights are for. 5

[Illuminated] This tripod is a beast. Sturdy metal, rock solid build, and holds my 20lb rig just fine. The head is amazing and smooth. The locking knobs for the head only need to be turned about a quarter of a turn to lock the plate or the head itself. I love this feature. The spreader is very easy to remove. I have noticed that the spring loaded tether for securing the legs together during transport has popped out once but I was able to feed the spring and the tether back into its port and it works still. I highly recommend this tripod. Easy to use, fluid head is super smooth, and built like a tank. 5

[44 x 14 x 13"] I've been a camera operator for almost 15 years and have used countless types of tripods from tiny cheap ones to high end broadcast Sachtler tripods. Mostly run with mid-level dslr/cinema rigs and this tripod blows them all out of the water. It's a game changer. No more multi level adjustments. Light, its exceptionally light for it's size. I paired it with the Miller DS-20, which itself is the best head in it's weight class. 5
