The Libec RHP85 Fluid Head with PH-8B Extendable Pan Handles features the fully adjustable Continuous Counterbalance technology. It offers optimal counterbalance, as well as Balance Stabilizer Mechanism that prevents the slightest wobble on your image, while providing a smooth balancing system.

The Fluid Head features a 7-step pan and tilt torque switch that covers a wide torque range. The one-touch attachment and release ensures that the camera plate can be attached and detached with just a touch, enabling fast and easy setup. The Fluid Head comes with the PH-8B Pan Handle with rubber grip that can stop the camera precisely at any tilt angle.

The Fluid Head is capable of operating at temperature of -40°F. The Fluid Head features a 100mm diameter ball head. It is designed for use with ENG (Electronic News Gathering) cameras that can capture fast moving objects.

It is capable of handling a payload of 55 lb.

A: The Libec TR320 can handle up to 60 kgs or 132lbs. The Blackmagic URSA weighs 7.25 kgs or 16 lbs. I am not sure of the tripod you have but that probably weighs somewhere in the same area as the camera. Added together, you are well within the weight limit of the rail system.

Q: 3. is this the same plate that is on the Libec hands free monopode kit with TH-X Pan tilt video head?

A: Yes it is. According to Libec this system and the TH-X Head will be cross compatible.

Q: 4. Is this head compatible with manfrotto 501 quick-release plates?

A: Libec 650EX does use a quick release system that is similar to Manfrotto 501PL. One can swap the plates between Libec and Manfrotto heads that use Manfrotto 501PL.

Q: 5. Are the plates from libecs rh25d head compatible?

A: This unit is specifically designed to work with GVM G169. No other compatible models are listed at this time.

[11.85 lb] This tripod is wonderful , The only thing I wish it had was an illuminated bubble,The head movement is very smooth, I've used it on two shoots so far with no problems 5

[Yes] This is a great tripod. Well built and great functionality. We've had it over a year now with heavy use, and it still looks and works like new. We use it in both live IMAG and interview type environments. Easy to adjust and compact size when in bag. If it ever goes on sale with the remote again, I'll be picking up a couple more. 5

[Fluid Head] Used as the support for our main canera in a studio setting. It has added to the shots we can produce with very smooth movments while staying on the subject we are filming. This is a great product, and somthing I've wanted for years but could not justify the cost. The price point of this is where I needed to be and offers all the features of units costing 3 or 4 times more. 5

[Yes] This product is high up there on my list of must haves for quality production. Affordably priced, smooth wheels, and all around great pedestal. Funny sidenote, make sure you read the instructions, as two of our awesome employees took the entire head attachment apart before realizing where the screw holes were... They did however expertly put it back to gether....with the help of a third employee...me. 5

[Yes] I use for work with Sony NX100 and it's really stable and great for pannings and tilts. The zoom is really great also. It's big though but not super heavy. You can get a compact tripod from another brand like mine (Oben) and just change heads when traveling so you can have smooth video movements. 5
