A: Yes, this is an excellent way to unite camera with flash. This is the cool thing, these units work on any camera and any flash as long as the camera has a hot shoe. Just plug in the units (it doesn't matter which unit you plug into either the White Lightning strobes or the camera. Each unit become either the transmitter or the transceiver). These things work great! I shoot with Paul C. Buff's Alien Bees. I also use them on Profoto and Novatron units that are over 35 years old. So, I can now mix old strobe equipment with new digital cameras and not worry about frying my cameras when using my old Novatron strobes. The PocketWizard is designed to take the high voltage hit put out by the older strobe units when my digital camera triggers the shutter. And I have had great success with fire the units 400 to 500 feet of each other.

A: Yes, the PocketWizard PlusX 2 Pack would be compatible for use with the Godox DP1000III Professional Studio Flash. The PocketWizard PlusX 2 Pack includes the cables needed to connect the PlusX to the Godox DP1000III. Do note you will have to set the flash output manually, as TTL flash output would not be compatible when using the PocketWizard PlusX radio transceivers.

A: No. The receiver is compatible only with the RF-603 or RF-602 transmitters.

A: Yes, the Pocket Wizard Plus X can fire the Profoto Acute 2 1200R from any camera system.
