This Impact Varipole Top Rubber Foot for Stabilityis a spare or replacement for the one that comes with each Varipole. The soft rubber foot fits snugly into the open tube end of the Varipole and prevents damage to the ceiling when tension is applied to secure it.

A: The differences between this background support and the Manfrotto 2961D has to do with the locking mechanism on each pole. The Manfrotto Deluxe Autopole would unlock by pulling the handle downward then pulling it towards you. With the Impact Varipole, you have the same control but with an added lock around the handle for extra security. Otherwise they offer similar height and weight, with the Impact Varipole being more budget friendly.

A: Christian's reply is correct. The Gitzo D108623 Single Rubber Foot is designed for use with the Gitzo GT1545T, GB4571XL, GB4541, GK100T, GK100TC, and GK1545TA tripods.

A: the Impact Varipole Top Rubber Foot BH #IMVPARFT is not compatible with an Autopole.

Q: 8. Hi, is there a spike feet that have a rubber cap that is an alternative this this? I am using the Gitzo GK1545TA.

A: Unfortunately, we do not have a replacement for the Gitzo D108623 Single Rubber Foot that has a spike with a rubber cap in our inventory compatible for use with the Gitzo GK1545TA Series 1 Traveler Tripod. The options we have have a 3/8" thread, whereas the above foot has a 1/4" thread size. The options we have are too large to fit the Gitzo GK1545TA Series 1 Traveler Tripod.

Q: 9. Is this a backdrop stand setup? Or do I need to connect this to a backdrop stand?

A: This setup is designed to work with backdrop paper rolls.

Q: 10. Is it possible to add another pair of Super Clamps for extra protection?

A: There is no need for it it will hold it well. Putting on a 2nd super clamp there is great difficulty in finding the right size screws.

[Rubber] I replaced old ones I had. Now it looks nice and clean. I still put a cloth between the upper one and the ceiling to make sure there are no marks left after I remove the auto poles. 5

[Rubber] The feet on my Matthpoles were leaving marks on my office ceiling, so I was worried about taking them to a client site and had started to look at solutions ranging from socks to paper, but I wanted to keep the rubber seal. These covers are great! Inexpensive, just pop one on top of the pole and you're all set. On the Matthews poles they just drop in, they don't really attach but they are large enough to cover the foot and secure enough that they won't fall out while you're raising the pole. It would be easy to lose one if you forget to put it away after use, as it won't stay firmly on the pole. I imagine that is not a problem on the Impact poles. 5

[Rubber] Came across a auto-pole (wall stretcher) at a ReStore, they didn't know what they had, it had 2 $45 Mafer clamps on it but no top, they wanted $5 for the whole thing, I bought it immediately. This $20 top completes the package. 5
