Q: 1. Is Gold Mount an option?

Q: 3. This says 4 x 5.6 as opposed to 4 x 5.65 Can you tell me the difference?Will these filters fit in my RedRock Micro okay?

A: The filters are 4x5.65 as we do not manufacture 4x5.6. This is just a mislabel by B&H.

Q: 4. The specs claim the total weight of the light is 10 lb. Is that including the detachable AC power adapter?? If not, what is the weight of the power adapter itself?

A: 10lbs is the manufacturer spec for the lights weight.

Q: 5. Can you rotate the filter when in place for optimum polarization? Is that what the small wheel is for?

A: The small dial can change the polarization amount.

Q: 6. It says there are three 4x5.65 filters but it also mentions an ultra circular polarizing filter. I only see 3 square filters in the photo. Does this kit include a circular polarizing filter?

A: The filter on the right is a polarizing filter and rotates in a filter holder to achieve the polarizing effect.

Q: 7. Will this work with the apo televid 77 straight body scope?

A: NO, this eyepiece couples to the newer model Leica Televid 82 only... It will NOT couple to the older model Leica Televid 77, straight OR angled.

Q: 8. The power adapter will accept 240 volts 50hz?

A: According to the manufacturer the lights are multivoltage for worldwide use.

Q: 9. The directions for the adapter say it has to be removed from the camera before I can change lenses. Why? It seems that it would be easier to leave the adapter on the camera and just change the lens attached to the adapter.

A: We recommend always following manufacturer's instructions, even when their reasoning might not be clear.

Q: 10. adapter for telescope use?

A: Yes you can get an adapter but not afaik from B&H or Leica. Starlight instruments sells a very nice one for 2 focusers and APM Telescopes sells either a 2 or 1-1/4 version but not quite as nice.

[8.2 x 7.7 x 1"] Very good for the price you pay, 1/3rd of the price of a circular polarizer. Linear polarizer works very well with my Nikon D300 on the Nikon 75-300 zoom lens: autofocus is fast and accurate, I can't see any difference in focusing with or without the filter. 5

[0.85 lb] In summer, when sun angles are high, it is difficult to get nice blue skies. But with this cheap polarizer filter, one can restore those washed out colors by reducing glare and improving dynamic range. A must have for anyone who does landscape photography. 5

[Glass] I bought this polarizing filter to go on the new Canon T1i camera I bought recently from B&H. I shopped all over for this particular camera and B&H ... had the lowest price! Love my camera. The colors for my sunny daytime shots were a bit washed out and I realized that I needed this polarizing filter. It arrived in just a couple of days. I can see a great difference in the before and after shots. The polarizer really helps to deepen the colors and remove unwanted reflections. This is one of the least expensive items you can buy that will give you very visible results in your photos along with protecting your lens. I'm very pleased with it. 5

[0.85 lb] I began shooting again after a 20-year hiatus, and this filter arrived from B&H in pristine condition. It's your basic polarizer, a must for a lot of outdoor shooting... 5

[8.2 x 7.7 x 1"] Filming outside and only have 2 filter trays? THIS is the filter for you. It combines 3 filters in one, and is excellent when using a RED, ARRI Alexa or other DSLR in an outdoor environment where you need to blue your sky (pola), stop down (because of the bright sun), and take care of infra red pollution (to crush your black tones in-camera). So the beauty of it is that you only use one of your filter trays, and have 1 tray left for whatever other FX you want to use... Classic Soft, or maybe you need more Neutral Density to stop down even more. 5

[8.2 x 7.7 x 1"] Completely satisfied with this product; cuts down on haze, cuts through reflections, and gives me a slightly more saturated, rich color on my camera. Should note that the filter comes in a standard hard plastic case which can be used to store it. 5

[0.85 lb] As a filter to protect my 18-135 Nikor AF lens this product works perfectly. Further it polarizes as it should reducing glare when shooting water surfaces and glass windows or into the Sun. 5
