The TecNec VISCA 30’ Camera Control Cable allows for RS-232C control of color video cameras from your PC. When connected to your video camera and PC, it allows operation of the video camera from the PC. It supports Sony EVI-HD1, EVI-D30, EVI-D31, and Canon VC-C4R and VC-C4 Cameras. This cable features a mini DIN (MDX820) connector at one end and a D-sub connector at the other end.

This cable also enables communication from AMX, Crestron, or Extron control systems via PC by using the NEC PC control utility (sold separately) for basic projector control. It allows communication via PC by using the NEC geometric correction tool (sold separately) for adjusting a projector to display an image on a cylindrical, spherical, or corner screen. It can also be used for communication via PC by using the NEC image express utility (sold separately) to send images to the projector for presentations as well as basic projector control, projector lamp and error status, or asset management.

A: This is a D-tap connector, if you have a battery base, it controls the input, moreover there is a DC surge controller in the middle (on this connector) to control any power surges. Mine works pretty well for all day shoots, I have a Movcam Battery Base and Lan Parte batteries to go with it.

[0.46 lb] If you use PTZ cameras and require a 150' cable run then this cable is perfect. Good quality and pliable for easy coiling. i use it with with a Datavideo PTC -120 for reverse angle crowd capture shots and the long length allows for proper positioning. 5
