Q: 1. Will this work with a Fuji xt2?

A: Drew, did you ever purchase this item and did it work well on your XT2?I'm considering it for use with an XPRO1, XPRO2, and X100T. Anyone else have experience in using it on these bodies?

Q: 2. Has anyone put a small ball & head on the bracket where the hotshoe is? I aim to put a wireless Cactus RF60x, and I think a small Slik Ball & Head would give a better experience.

A: ive seen that set up on flikr looks real nice. slik ballhead speedlight with gary fong modifier...

Q: 3. How long is this strap?

A: This strap is roughly 3 ft in length.

Q: 4. Can this be mounted on a Canon 5D mark 3 without a grip?

A: I have Nikon and Sons gear so not totally familuar with Canon but as long as there is a centralized standard tripod socket on your Canon the mini CB should mount well. I have an older mini-CB and now the newer model. The newer is more forgiving - so should fit you fine.

Q: 5. Is there a left-handed version of this bracket? I would prefer to have the flash on the left, so I can adjust it as needed while taking photos with my right hand. I love the small profile this bracket creates.

A: Pretty sure right-side is the only version made. I don't remember seeing any other options when I was in the market for a bracket. You make an interesting point about not having to take your hand off the grip to change the flash - but this bracket mounts the flash very close to the right side of the lens and I believe that it was on the left side of the lens, one would have issues accessing the zoom and focus rings.

Q: 6. Is Vello 1.5' TTL cable long enough for 5Dmk3 with camera grip with this bracket?

A: I use this with the original 5D, with battery grip. I have a cable that is about that length and find that plenty.

Q: 7. Is this good for Vertical and Horizontal shooting?

A: The Custom Brackets CB Mini-RC Camera Flash Bracket will work well for both horizontal and vertical orientation of the camera.

Q: 8. I'd like to attach this to my D750 with battery grip, and then attach the bracket to a tripod, and use it for shooting vertical portraits. Is that possible?

A: Yes it is possible to fit this bracket to a tripod via the 1/4" female thread at the bottom and it will accept a Nikon D750 with a battery grip installed.

Q: 9. I shoot with Sony a7II + Zeiss 55 F1.8, would this fit for me???

A: perfect my friend put me onto this bracket and its what he shoots with

Q: 10. Will this mount fit on my Sony A6500 ??

A: It will fit but the camera is very small and the bracket is large so will be awkward to use. You also won't have where to hold well in vertical mode. I would recommend buying a battery grip like this one and placing it on the camera. With this grip it will allow you to better use that bracket on the camera. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1335221-REG/vello_bg_s5_battery_grip_for_sony.html

[0.275 lb] All camera straps used to look like this. The only negative is that the seatbelt strap used as the base is, well, the texture and stiffness of a seatbelt strap. On the flip side, it's durable.

[0.275 lb] I put this on a Texas Leica (Fuji medium format GSW 680 iii). It's a massive 120 film rangefinder that is pretty heavy. The strap is fantastic at distributing and supporting that weight.

My only advice is be gentle when exiting the bad that the heavy metal fittings don't whack the camera. Otherwise, this is a great strap, and I have ordered an olive one for my DSLR.

[Teal Blue] I bought this handstrap to replace the one on my Canon 5D Mark IV from Canon. What I love about this strap is how much easier it is to install & uninstall. Seriously. The old Canon E1 strap I had required that you had a battery grip and you had to loop it through the battery grip as well as the body, meaning it would not be fun if you were planning to shoot without the grip to try and take it apart. They now make an E2, but it's twice as much as this one. With this one, you simply install the upper loop to the camera body once and for all, and the strap has an adjustable length + screw-on mount that allows you to screw it in to the tripod mount, which still allows you to use a tripod if need be (although I will say that there may be a lack of that true stability that the naked camera base has). I will probably be buying one for my Sony Alpha a9 too! =

[Teal Blue] Would this camera strap be effective if I have my camera battery grip on the bottom will it be able to screw in and attach even though I have the battery grip on ??

[Yes] My wife and I photograph horse shows using 70-200 f2.8 lenses, and they get very heavy after 6-10 hours around the neck. This strap is long enough to use the strap over 1 shoulder, across my body, greatly reducing the strain on my lower back. The strap is soft, seems plenty strong enough, and I have one on each of the camera's I'm likely to use with a heavy lens.

[Yes] This camera strap is gorgeous! The workmanship is beautiful and well made. I have no worries that it won't hold up under long hikes with my SLR camera!

[0.275 lb] We got three colors (1 each): black, gray, red. All are excellent. Strap is comfortable. Easy to put onto camera and easy to adjust length. Seems quite durable (hopefully so since they are seatbelt straps!). The camera is only a tinse over a pound, so strain on strap is nearly nill. There is no quick release.

[Yes] This strap is a heavyweight that's American made and beautiful to look at. It's handmade in Chicago from recycled seatbelts and built to last.....

[0.275 lb] I guess there are many reason I ordered this particular strap...American made, adjustment range greater than most, made with repurposed materials. It is living up to my expectations. It is very well made. Love the color. Love the adjustable length. It is far more comfortable around my neck than the OEM strap that was stiffer and lined with plastic that made it very uncomfortable.
