Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What are the exterior/outside dimensions of this tray? Not the box dimensions or maximum paper size, but the outside/exterior dimensions. Thank you.

A: Cescolite Dimple-Bottom Plastic Developing Tray (11 x 14") bottom dimensions are 15.5'' h x 12.5'' The top borders dimensions are 17.5''h x14.5''w.

Q: 2. Reel is included??

A: there should be one reel included in the package.

Q: 3. May I know the inner diameter of it? Does it fit in hewes Spiral Cage 120/35mm/220 small dia 15 litre tank

A: It is not round so it will not fit a 35mm or 120 reel or tank. It is rectangular and made to be used with 8x10 film hangers such as this: https://bhpho.to/3NNmGzg

Q: 4. Does this tank include the hangers for placing the film in the tank? Or, in other words, everything I need to actually process the film? Thanks :)

A: Unfortunately it does not include the hangers.

Q: 5. does it include film holders and what do they look like?

A: No, film holders are not included with the purchase of the Arkay 81-14 Stainless Steel Cut Film Developing Tank for 18 - 8x10" Sheets. The purchase would include the Arkay 81-14 Stainless Steel Cut Film Developing Tank and the Daylight Cover 81-14DL.

Q: 6. How many ounces of liquid can this tank hold?

A: The amount of ounces is determined based on how many rolls you are developing at once.

A: Yes, both reels have ball bearings in them for 35 mm film. I find it leaves little scratches on my 120 film I suppose you could pop them out?

Q: 8. What is the capacity of this tank in ML?

A: 570ml for 120 and 560ml for two rolls of 35mm.

A: The Universal Plastic Developing Tank with 2 Reels comes with 2 x Self loading multi-format reels.

Q: 10. So, does this come with the center column???

A: Yes, it does. You get the top, funnel, tube, and something you can put at the top of the funnel to agitate as well. The reels are not included. Sorry for the delayed response. I'm just catching up on my emails.

[Plastic] I use this product to develop film in a class I am taking. It great because it lightweight and easy to handle. It may break easier because of the plastic it's made with compared to the stainless steel model.

[Plastic] Good sturdy, no flawed bucket that holds good amount of mix for my darkroom room use. Works great easly to put away and store. Really happy with this buy.

[Plastic] I use XTOL as a single use B+W developer, if I want to develop a single roll of 35mm this tank is the one I use to conserve developer and consistency. Filling a two reel tank with one reel loaded and half the amount of developer doesn't produce consistent results with inversion agitation, as the developer does not stay in contact with the film during inversion.

[5.65 lb] This is the only plastic tray I own; I prefer stainless steel for all darkroom items. But 8x10 sheet film can stick like glue to a flat-bottomed stainless tray. This solves the problem and is a quality product as well.

[5.65 lb] These trays are great to use. Your prints will not stick to the bottom. The trays are big enough to enable easy use of tongs and small enough to allow economical quantities of chemicals. They are also easy to clean and store and a compensating temperature probe fits close to the bottom. I wish I had discovered them years ago!
