These 24 cream-colored SB24 Slide Storage Boxes from Print File are made with a cream-colored, acid- and lignin-free material, and function as slide bins for organizing and storing images. Each storage box can hold 20 to 25 cardboard slide mounts, or 10 to 12 glass slide mounts. A 3/8" tab on the slide bin provides a place for identifying the contents. The bins are shipped flat, and assembled easily.

Q: 3. What are the sleeves made of?

A: Based on Google, they are made of Polyethylene which has been proven safe for long periods of time. They also have no PVC in them. I've been using them for years with no issues.

A: Sheet size is similar, but what goes inside is very different. If you have 35mm film, this is the wrong item.

[Board] I purchased these to transport the first 1000 slides belonging to my parents to my home to begin digitizing and restoring the slides. There are about 20000 slides to save, so I decided to start small and see how we get on. The storage boxes provide a safe and easy way to carry the slides in my hand luggage on my flight without worrying about the slides being damaged or lost. I used rubber bands to ensure the lids stayed on during my flight. The boxes enabled me to remove the slides from the carousels, which would be much more challenging to transport on my flight. Fit for purpose even though a bit pricey, especially if considering them for a long-term storage solution. Because the boxes hold ~ 200 slides each and the carousels hold ~140 slides, the inner spacing boxes are helpful as dividers if you choose to split up the slides to make the best use of the space for transportation. The metal seams of the box and lid are also helpful to deter wear. 5

[Board] Well-constructed boxes with dividers allowed me to condense 7 slide carousels—which took up almost 2 vertical feet of space— into 3 small boxes with room to spare in the third box. Very pleased with this product. 5

[0.13 lb] I have used these boxes for some time now to store hundreds of 35mm slides. I like the slide bins (which hold 24 slides) as this makes it easier to find specific slides (I label the bins with labels from a brother label printer). 5
