I use it with DisplayCal - the ArgyllCMS frontend - in order to profile and calibrate my LG monitor as part of my color managed workflow.

Gamut coverage achieved at D50, 75 nits was amazing: 99.9% sRGB, 93.5% Adobe RGB and 94.6% DCI P3. Average ΔE = 0.31 and max ΔE = 1.24

I was never able to get numbers like this using colorimeters.

Yes, the X-rite i1Basic Pro 3 package is pricey; but if color is important to you, and you want the images on your screen to match your prints, this is the way to go.

The look can range from subtle to very pronounced depending on your subject and which filter you use from this pack. I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this. Included are two photos I made, one with the Austin filter and one with the Northern Lights filter.

B&H customer support went out of their way to solve my issue with this and I would highly recommend further purchases from them in the future.

I received this pack free as a promotion for an I7 processor and was actually supposed to get a different pack (intel creative software bundle). I wanted the first pack and was pretty disappointed to have received this instead so I wrote a poor review with 1 star. However a member of B&H's customer service team reached out and corrected the mistake for me.

This review is more for their awesome customer support rather than this bundle. I would personally give this maybe 3 or 4 stars but that's only because the games in this bundle aren't interesting to me (i.e. Final fantasy, zen pinball).
