A: No not completely, almost but not quite. I found it not really sufficient for directing small pocket of light for back ground illumination. Using a honey comb grid is much better.

A: Not a bad snoot. I use it with the elc kit though it is prone to light leak. So gaphers tape may be needed. If I was to do it all over I would've bought the elinchrome brand. Yes it will fit the ranger

A: The Impact Snoot for Select Impact/Bowens S-Mount Strobes is compatible with Impact Monolights (except the EX100A) as well as Bowens, Travelite, Cowboy, Interfit Stellar, JTL, Photoflex, Rime Lite, and Westcott flash heads.
