[0.115 lb] You need this extra battery if you are going to buy a GoPro. Batteries last a nice amount of time but you certainly need a spare if you are planning to get the most out if your camera for a day. Think long term! 5

[Lithium-Ion] The original battery for my Samsung SC-HMX-20C video camera died years ago, so I decided to get two replacement batteries for the camera. The Watson IA-BP85ST battery was the replacement and it worked great. Both batteries charged up without any problems and I used the camera for about an hour of recording on each battery and the camera said I still had 30 minutes of life left in the battery. I'm very happy with the batteries. 5

[Lithium-Ion] Ive tried other 3rd party batteries for my hero3, but the Watson ones seem to have performed the best for me. I have about 4 of the watson batteries that I change out as needed when I am using the GoPro for long periods of time. They seem to last about 1.5 hrs of recording in HD. 5

[Lithium-Ion] I recently purchased this battery for a used Go Pro Hero 3 Black I was recently given. After charging this battery up and riding along with the original go pro battery and this one. After the original ran out of juice this battery did its job well. Even had power left after my ride which was better then expected. Love it so much I bought another one with the charging kit as well! 5
