A: The original charger will work with the battery.

A: Either the battery or the charger is defective.

A: The answer to your question is no this battery cannot be calibrated I called Watson and they supplied with this answer. When I bought this battery it was only for a backup I don't use it full time, every so often I will recharge it. It fills the need for what I needed and the price was right.

[Lithium-Ion] I use this battery as a back-up to my Nikon battery EN-EL4a rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery Pack. I always use my original Nikon battery but if I am out in the field and my Nikon battery goes down after many shots, I then switch to the the Watson EN-EL4A Lithium-Ion Battery Pack as my back-up until I can re-charge the Nikon battery again at home. I find it's more economical using it that way since there is such a big price difference between the Nikon Battery and the Watson Battery. However the Watson battery is a very good battery and reliable in every way. 5

[11.1 VDC] In the short time I have now used it, works as well as the Nikon original. Fits perfectly into the battery compartment, fully charged first time in less than 2 hours and shows no loss of power shooting for normal half hour of scenic shots. The yellow end cap protector doesn't stay on well, so I took the old one from the original Nikon battery and it fits perfectly. 5

[Lithium-Ion] The Watson EN-EL4A is a back-up battery for me so when I pop it in I am expecting it to perform as expected. While shooting a college baseball game I used the battery repeatedly over a 3 day period and each time it performed perfectly. That feeling of confidence remains when I pop in this battery and fire a couple of multi photos bursts. 5
