The white, 100' Canare Star Quad 3-Pin XLR Male to 1/4 TRS Male Cable is handcrafted with superflexible Canare L-4E6S cable and features high-quality Neutrik XLR and TRS phone connectors. The Star Quad series has been engineered to dramatically reduce hum and electromagnetic interference (EMI) for outstanding signal transparency both in the studio and on stage. Designed to virtually eliminate handling noise, this cable is well-suited for connecting a balanced 1/4" TRS audio output, like those found on many mics and instruments, to a balanced XLR input on a mixer, PA speaker, or similar device.

A: The DC5V USB-C power input on the Zoom EXH-6e Dual XLR-1/4" TRS Input Capsule for H6essential Portable Recorder would be used for powering condenser microphones with an XLR connector, because these types of mics require 48V phantom power.

Q: 2. Is there a version of this cable without a locking connector?

A: No, we don't make one like that. But you can easily push back the locking connector and it does not impede the use at all. I use one with a Blink 500 and Blink 500 Pro system all the time.

Q: 3. Will this cable help me connect a Rode VideoMic with a 3.5 mm plug to my Canon Rebel T6 with its 2.5 mm remote control input? Thank you!

A: The Rebel T6 is not able to accept a mic input via its remote jack.

A: No . It is compatible withe listed Saramonic products.

A: No firmware upgrade needed- EXH-8 is fully compatible/designed for H8.

A: The power adapter for the EXH-8 would be a separate purchase.

Q: 7. Is this also compatible with the H5 and H6?

A: At this time, the EXH-8 module is only compatible with the Zoom H8.

Q: 8. Would this cable work with a Rode Go II receiver?

A: Yes, the Saramonic SR-UM10-CC1 would be compatible with the Rode Wireless GO II receiver.

Q: 9. Do you lose your line in input by using this add-on? Or does it come with it?

A: Yes you will.

A: The cable is 17" long. From end to end of the 3.5mm connector to the XLR connectors is 21".

[Neutrik] recording studio connections. canare is fantastic quality. a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for. I use these mostly for pathing at this length, and need low noise, RF resistant, and low distortion at higher BD levels running from tube preamps. works like a charm. Just wish canare could make them a little less expensive. Price is only drawback from buying a lot more. 5
