The blue Canare Starquad XLRM Cable Neutrik XLRM/XLRF Blue 6ftis handcrafted with the super flexible Canare L-4E6S cable and superior Neutrik unisex XLR cable. This cable allows you to switch easily between male and female by sliding housing back and forth. Use Starquad for reduced hum and EMI, and no handling noise. This cable is perfect for all microphone use and great for connecting balanced output of some audio processors, mixers, and low density patch bays to XLR inputs.

[21 AWG] Great quality XLR audio cables. I am a big fan of Canare Star Quad XLR cables and numerous in assorted sizes and colors. I never encounter noise through these balanced cables. Build quality is always excellent and the color coding is extremely helpful in organizing my hookups. I use these short cables to connect close coupled devices and hookup a microphone to my Computer Audio Interface for quick dialog and APR. 5

[21 AWG] I would outfit an entire analog recording studio with Canare L-4E6S Cables. I wouldn't pay twice as much for other brands, as Canare uses the same quality materials, braiding techniques and connectors. Also, the color options are helpful to identify signal routing from certain equipment if need be. 5

[Yes] The Canare Star Quad made my Tascam mic come alive! I did some test against the XLR that came with my mic vs the Star Quads, and I gained greater clarity in the lower & upper regions of my voice. If i need more mics in the future, then Im matching them with Star Quads. The XLR cable that originally came with my Tascam will be used if i dont need the clarity and full range of the Canare XLR cable. 5

[Blue] I wanted the versatility of length and color coding. Sam Mallery who makes a lot of technical videos for B&H recommended these videos at his blog (what to get for an audio professional). The manufacture seems top notch and I love the ability to match mics to my mixer using color coded cables. And hey, who doesn't like a little color. Ask me in five years how durable they are, but the specs are top notch and the components name brand. I'd rather not worry about my cables on a shoot. 5

[21 AWG] I use this cable for short runs from my recorder to a shotgun mic on my camera rig. The cable is flexible and easy to coil. The connectors are solid and can be color-coded with the Neutrik XXR color coding rings. 5
