The Sensor Reflex Sight from Bering Optics is an unmagnified reflex sight for close-range targeting with a pistol, shotgun, or AR-style rifle. This aiming tool features a selectable reticle pattern, unlimited eye relief, and 1 MOA impact point adjustments. Using a built-in ambient light sensor, the Sensor Reflex automatically adjusts reticle brightness to provide an optimal illumination level for the given lighting conditions. This configuration from Bering Optics' reflex sight series is IPX4-compliant for water-resistant performance and is also rated to perform in high humidity and freezing temperatures.

Q: 1. Heard with this being a DSMC2 that the fan will get loud after a while of use. Do you know of any external components that can drown out the noise when shooting?

A: No there are no external components that will muffle the fan noise, and no such product is recommended by Red as it may cause over heating and damage the camera

A: You can shoot 24p at all resolutions.

Q: 3. What button or dial wheel controls the lens aperture on this kit? Or am I missing something here? Thanks

A: It is all controlled with this type of set up, through the touchscreen.

Q: 4. How many swabs of each type are in the box ? I have a D800E. I'm also looking at getting Giottos Rocket Blaster with this. Any advice additionally, or should this be all I need for cleaning both the mirror chamber / focusing screen area and the sensor itself?

A: The kit comes with 24 total SensorSafe wands (12 small, 6 medium, 6 large). The D800E uses the large wands, 24mm. This is a link for additional wands/swabs, http://bhpho.to/NurxazThe Rocket-Blaster by Giottos is very good to have.The best advice is check the sensor if it does need cleaning before you actually go through the process. Sometimes it just needs you to use the little vacuum and or the Rocket to get the dust off.

Q: 5. Does it work with Fuji X-T2?

A: It should, but you will have to hold it a little further away from the sensor due to the difference in flange distance.

Q: 6. How much does this weigh total (when battery is connected too)? I’m looking to upgrade from a C100, shooting doc handheld.

A: For the parts that will be used during shooting we have a total weight of 8.85 pounds. However there may be additional weight that you will need to add to this system for shooting. It is highly recommend that for handheld shooting this this camera you will need a shoulder rig. Q: 7. It is possible from 6k to 4k downscale without aspect cropping mode?

A: No. Changes in resolution will result in changes in the active sensor area that can be down scaled. You can do that in your NLE.

A: make sure your battery is at full charge, put in MUP, remove lens, turn on sensor scope and check it out. DO NOT OVER SATURATE THE CLEANING SWABS. stroke from edge to edge with a new swab on each pass. reinstall lens when clean have fun shooting lots of enjoyable photos.

Q: 9. Will this sensor fit a Leica M8.2 body?

A: I found this comment in an online review of the Sensor Scope and Leica camera: This works brilliantly. I tried it with several cameras, including a Canon1Ds MKII and 5D, and also a Leica M8. The Leica has a different lens flange to sensor distance so I had to reposition the SensorScope a bit, but it still worked very well to illuminate and show dust.

Q: 10. WIll this work well with the Leica M240 or M246 ?

A: Yes, the Delkin Devices Sensor Scope will work with the Leica M240 and the M246.Just you might need to pull it a little further away from the camera because the sensor is closer to the lens mount than DSLR cameras.

[1 x CR2032] This has been a fantastic sight! Ive went through several other micro red dots before landing on this one, and im glad i finally tried it. I use this on a mossberg 930 as my turkey gun, and these are the two big concerns that ive had issue with in the past: 1 - As the morning progresses and the sun rises, i often find myself adjusting the bright ess to accomodate the ever brighter sky. This is annoying. 2 - Especially when wearing gloves, the small buttons on some dots can be frustrating to locate and press. The Fastfire 3 accomodates both of these issues with ease. The directional automatic brightness is a godsend, as it looks at the ambient light of what your aiming at. Aiming into dark woods? The sigh can tell and will dim down. Aiming at the sky? The sight knows, and has propably already adjusted before youre even ready to squeeze the trigger. The sight is operated by a single button. No + or - buttons to worry about. This makes operation with gloves easy and worry free. One press and it is on and using automatic brightness adjustment. I will be purchasing this as my mainstay dot on other guns going forward! 5
