Q: 2. How do you clean sand from this, and make it smoother to run?

A: To remove sand, I would use a mild house-hold cleaner with paper towels and cotton swabs. Apply the cleaner to the towels and swabs first then clean away gently. If that does not get all the sand, then see if you can disassemble it to get out the rest. If this is to no avail, then I would contact the seller, Gradus Group, for servicing. a href= http://www.gradusgroup.com/support target= _blank http://www.gradusgroup.com/support/a

Q: 9. Will it hold a big telephoto lens ? One of the photos seem to show a user with a Nikon 200-400mm. I want to use it with a Nikon 300mm f/2.8 If it's not sturdy enough, any other suggestions ? This will not be for video.

A: It is a tool and it's success depends on how you use it. If you do not wish to use tripods or monopods, then try and see if it works for you. The main technique you would have to master is taking in a deep breath, letting out half of it, and then holding still while you shoot. Otherwise, your breathing will be an issue with such a lens. Other techniques is keep your shutter above 300th of a second and use higher ISO for hand-holding your camera.

Q: 10. Will this work with. Tamron 150-600mm mounted on a Nikon D7200? I shoot BIF and wildlife.

A: The usefulness of this device comes down to personal preference. In the movie business we called it doing whatever it takes to get the shot! From what I see of birders and my own shooting of wildlife, I would recommend you first try using the Tamron lens hand-held, particularly for BIF. If you find yourself tiring or you need to keep the lens to your eye for long periods (on a nest for example) then give this a try and it may be the answer for you.

[1.7 lb] Purchased this after another video buddy of mine told me to look into it over the one I was looking at (not to name any names, but it rhymes with metal-chrome). I love that I do not have to use an app on my phone to use it. Super easy to setup. I've been using it primarily to act as a second cameraman for interview setups (no timelapses yet) and it's been pretty dang flawless.

Just be aware, the case that the Ultimate Slider Bundle comes in is MASSIVE. But it really does come with everything you need. I've paired mine with 2 kupo slider stands for some rock-solid moves.

I don't know what our camera + lens + cage + matte box + monitor weigh, but the Arc II head can easily handle it. Take a look at the photos, it's not a light setup.

I think I might order an extra sled and extra ends so that I can have the full-length slider and shorter carbon fiber one ready to go without having to do any additional changeovers.

[1.7 lb] This chestpod has made photographing arthropods so much easier for me! Usually, nature won't lend you a hand and give you the perfect platform for propping ones self up for a photo shoot at any given time. This chest pod can be propped against pretty much anything, and it is incredibly lightweight and portable. My only guff with is is the base on which the camera is screwed on, but that's no issue that an additional ball-head cannot fix. Excellent work Novoflex, and thanks to BH Photo for providing (I seriously could not find this chest pod anywhere else)!

[1.7 lb] Once I figured out how to put the slider together, everything has worked great. I use this to shoot on a Canon 5D, and it is very supportive and durable to do the job. I'm glad I didn't spend more on a slider, because this does the trick for establishing wide shots and a smooth glide. My only critique would be that the kit doesn't come with an allen wrench/hex key which I needed to change the tripod plate screw in order to fit with my particular DSLR.

[1.7 lb] I bought this for my husband, as he has developed a tremor and has difficulty holding his camera still enough to get a good quality picture. We were going on a cruise and what a pain to haul a tripod every where we might go. This light weight chest tripod solved the issue. Easy to carry and effective. So, if your one of the 100 or so people who asked us about it while we were traveling, it is a great investment.

[1.4 lb (.63 kg)] As I have what is known as an exclusive tremor - I needed some support to help rid me of the often Soft shot. There are lots of shoulder supports available that cost three times what this item does, and probably not as good. construction is rock solid; and adjust nicely. this is a great product!

[1.4 lb (.63 kg)] I bought this to use in conjunction with a flash bracket handle/grip as a minimal handheld rig for shooting video on my GH1. I love the solid construction, the simplicity of design, and how easy it is to change from shoulder stock to vertical waist/hip support. Its small size makes it light weight and easy to pack. This is probably one of the most overlooked items for handheld stabilization. The only thing I would change about it is that the mounting block can only be rotated to set positions....and I would like to have infinite degrees of rotation to get just the right angle.

[1.7 lb] I call this my body pod. When shooting football from the sidelines at night, I am unable to have any other pod on the sidelines because of danger or regulations. This not only provides the advantages of a tripod or unipod, but it also distributes the weight of a heavy lense to my upper stomach area making the equipment seem much lighter. It is totally adjustable; can be used in different ways; and the shoulder strap works great without pressuring my neck.

[1.4 lb (.63 kg)] It's my third slider and by far my favorite! I love the fact that you can create multi point movements with a timeline (with the app).
