Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. My Z7 with attached 28-300.....will it fit? Quite sure the 200mm macro will not fit

A: It would not work well with the 28-300 too small.

Q: 2. can this be brought on as a carry on for traveling?

A: This has exterior dimensions of 21.00 x 13.25 x 13.00" . Carry on size tends to be 22 x 14 x 9 so this bag is just a bit too large in most cases.

Q: 3. Is there sand in the sandbag already ?

A: There is no sand in the bags. They ship empty.

Q: 4. Can this bag hold a C300 II with the handle attached?

A: As the FS5 body and top handle fits with room to spare I would guess that the c300 would fit as well. Have used the c300 a fair amount I feel pretty confident with estimation. That said check the dimension in the specs and cross reference they with the c300 specs. Side note: This bag is extremely modular with a ton of removable Velcro dividers and attachments you can customize the bag to work with any mid-size cine camera.

Q: 5. How many led panels does this hold?

A: This can only carry one Aputure Light Storm LS1s/LS1c panel.

Q: 6. So can you keep the side handle mounted on the FX6 with this bag?

A: Yes, you can keep the side handle mounted on the FX6 with this bag.

Q: 7. Would I be able to fit a c100 in it without disassembling the camera (specifically the audio handle and the handle on the right side)?

A: The Porta Brace BKS-2XM Expandable Backpack Camera Case (Black) interior dimensions are 25.0 x 16.5 x 10.5 / 63.5 x 41.9 x 26.7 cm. This is much bigger than any of the other cases we suggest for the C100. While we cannot guarantee that your configuration will work as you imagine, I say the chance is very good this bag will meet your needs.

Q: 8. Will this also fit the NX80 or z90 with the XLR handle on it?

A: This bag will not fit the NX80 or Z90.

Q: 9. what is the size of the pouch?

A: This pouches have internal dimensions of 9 x 8.5 x 0.5".

Q: 10. Will this case hold the Z 6 with the 35mm F/1.8SZ lens attached in the down position?

A: Yes, this will take that combination of camera and lens.

[Black] This bag holds just enough gear to stay up and rolling until your batteries run out power. Perfect.

[Waist Belt] I'm actually using this to carry my audio equipment for my Nikon D5. Great size and fits everything I need to convert to video shooting; wireless hand held mics, shotgun mic, sender and lav. Not too big, and easy to access.

[Zipper] I got this because it was on sale. Plan on using it for misc gear. Seems to be good case. I've had good luck with Porta Brace previously

[Waist Belt] The first one that was sent to me had some quality control issues--one of the side belt zippers had no zipper head, and some of the stitching in the main compartment was coming off. I sent it back for a prompt, hassle-free exchange. I bike/walk around all day for my job and needed something to carry my gear with me, while having easy access to it. it holds my Fuji x-e2 body with 35mm lens attached, and two other lenses. It also has pockets for lots of other accessories. Very well made, too.

[Zipper] This gets a bit crowded around your middle when operating a steadicam, but in a pinch it can function as an audio bag. It was just the size I needed for a Zoom F6 with the Lectro receiver next to it. No slits for cables, but it works in a pinch. If you have a large lens mounted this can hold the smaller lenses in the meantime. A bit of a handoff to change. I might add some padding to fill in the spaces a bit more.

[Waist Belt] As all portabrace cases this case just works, works great.
2 dividers can hold mirror less and 2 lenses. Side pockets and heavy duty belt to keep it on the waist.
Great case.

[Waist Belt] Perfect to make sure I have any of my extra lenses with me during a shoot!

[Zipper] I went out on a whim and bought this before I shoot that I had today using my GH5 rig with a bunch of lumix Zooms. This hip bag is PERFECT for all of my lenses, and batteries / accessories. I was easily able to tote:

- (1) Lumix 12-35 MFT
- (1) Lumix 35-100 MFT
- (4) GH5 batteries
- (2) monitor batteries
- room in other compartments for lens pump, and microfiber, thumb screwdriver. Also a pouch to drop on dead batteries and a slot for sharpies.

The item wasn't as big as I was afraid it would be. (The model pictures look doofy AF).

But the REAL VALUE of this case is that it's Porta Brace, which means sturdy quality. I was able to wear the lens case on my hip and rest my rig rails on it - full weight. Such a clutch feature for the down and dirty shooter.

* Not suggested if you're going to be running around with a massive Canon 70-200, but that thing comes with its own case and belt hoop if I remember correctly. But as always, buy what you need and not what you don't.

[Waist Belt] Yes, its loud! They need to fix that. But I think it's because the textile is so thick and rigid, it acts like a drum. I taped black gaffer's tape on all the metal zipper handles and its a lot better now.

It is comfortable, even when you have 3 large speedy primes in it.(including my fav 85 1.2L, which is HEAVY). There is a softish hard plastic frame that keeps its shape and protects your gear. It is countoured where your thigh hits it (I wear it off the side) so it doesn't bite into your legs. Very thoughtful design.

I just wish the side pockets are a bit loose/bigger so that I can put something useful in it. Right now you can only fit some fold up sheet of paper.

I slightly modded mine. took off that ugly grey zipper string and replaced it with some black para cord. I also took off the portabrace logo off and put a nice little retro film camera pin on it. (don't tell portabrace...). the big logo on it makes you look like a sweaty 90's wedding photographer. Not that its a bad thing...
