A: The perforation goes in the vertical direction, not the direction the printer cuts. The DNP 4 x 6" Media Set for DP-QW410 Professional Photo Printer is a 4" roll and the printer cuts along the 4 inche edge. If you want 2x6" strips, you would need to get the DNP 4 x 6" Center Perforated Media Set for DP-QW410 Professional Photo Printer. The DNP DS-RX1HS is different in that it uses 6" rolls as opposed to 4" rolls.

Q: 3. where do i connect the xlr cord?

A: The Senal SC-550X will require a pre amplifier and phantom power in order to operate. This can be done with a mixer or other device such as a computer interface, and will depend on your particular application.

A: Hi there! The ECM-322 is a headset ONMNI mic, and an Omni mic cannot (by design) isolate sound sources in a specific direction. If it gets strong enough signal, it will deliver that to the speaker and feedback will result. Good speaker placement is also key in this equation. The more you can get the mic/talent OFF speaker axis (farther from directly in front) - the more HF will be attenuated naturally and the whole system will be less sensitive to feedback. A: Sony headsets are not compatible with Sennheiser wireless due to different wiring schemes. For a similar low profile headset for Sennheiser, here's an option BH #GAHS8OBG4MXD.

[Phantom Power] In short: low self-noise, improved isolation from room reverb, balanced frequency response, needs an audio recorder with quality preamps I used to run a shotgun mic into my Canon C70 for all my interviews, indoor or outdoor, and now my workflow and quality has improved dramatically. I find this microphone well balanced across the frequency range, with soft s sibilance and no boominess in low or mid-range frequencies. It does a slightly better job at isolating from room reverb, which results in greater source sound clarity. You need to pair this mic with the clean preamps of an equally exceptional audio recorder to really appreciate the sound, as the self-noise levels of your camera preamps can disguise how truly quiet this mic's self-noise actually is. It needed about 15db more gain than my shotgun mic, but between the audio recorder upgrade and this mic my noise floor is now -5db lower than running my shotgun straight into camera. What I hear through my headphones now is truly a natural mirror of real life sound and room tone, not merely an interpretation of it mixed with the hiss of camera preamps. Hard to describe until you A/B test for yourself, but it is the most natural sounding microphone I've ever used! 5

[Phantom Power] I am using this for recording violin, acoustic guitar, mandolin, and piano, and all sound great. I already own the mk4 and love it, but wanted something a little more directional that can reject some of the room noise, since I am not recording in a totally isolated environment. The mk41 sounds just as good as the mk4 and definitely cuts down on any background noise. Only downside is that I have less leeway to move around when recording, whereas with the mk4, which has a wider capture, it's a little more forgiving. But I got the mk41 specifically for this purpose to just focus on what's directly in front of it, and it's doing the job even better than expected without any loss of quality or musicality in the tone. Love it! And plus one for B+H's amazing customer service. They were extremely helpful. 5

[Omnidirectional] I've only used a handful of boom mics in my day, this is clearly the best one, pun intended. Playing back audio from this mic in my studio sounds as if the talent is right in my room. It's a bit heavy on the price if you're used to mics in the $300 range, but man is it worth it. 5

[Phantom Power] The sound is crystal clear, no coloring at all but of course you have to get it close to the source. I think this is the best mic you can buy for interiors and unlike a new camera, it will last me forever. Expensive, yes, but I think it will hold its value and is a good investment for my audio bag. 5

[Low Cut/HPF] I've only used it once so far for and indoor scene but I couldn't help but notice how it performed over my Sennheiser MKH 416. True, the MKH 416 is better equipped for outside but up until now that was all I had. I loved how if my actors were slightly off from their spot or turned their heads I suffered no roll-off problems at all. The over all tone of the voices was so clear and natural. I can't wait to use this mic on a larger scale. 5
