The AMT LSi Woodwind Microphone System is intended to clip onto flanged bell instruments. Designed and manufactured by hand, this microphone is suitable for professionals looking for a natural sound reproduction from a clip-on microphone. The LSi includes the D.C.T. (Disconnect Cable Technology) with the ability to connect the Wi5IIC creating a belt pack free wireless system.

The LS in its stock configuration is suited for players who need a hard wired (non-wireless) belt pack style setup. It allows the player to easily change to and from AMT’s different preamps (sold separately) while also allowing for direct connections to the Wi5IIC, Shure, Sabine, Line 6, or Sennheiser wireless systems (all sold separately). With a change of cable (sold separately), you can convert your LSi from a wired Inline preamp over to a wireless setup quickly and easily.

The LSi is a good choice for soft to loud music for a principal artist, ensemble setting, or as a soloist. The microphone is suspended in a 4-point isolation ring reducing key and handling noise. Phantom power is required for use with the LSi model (Inline preamp).

The LSi Woodwind Microphone System comes complete with an Inline preamp, a carry pouch, and AMT disconnecting cable technology to allow the microphone to be used wireless with the AMT Wi5IIC, Shure Line 6, or Sabine Wireless (all sold separately). The Sennheiser cable is also sold separately.

Q: 1. What size screws are needed to thread thru the base? I understand the length would be dictated by the thickness of the desk or wood going thru.

A: The diameter of each screw hole on the base is 1/4". You can use either wood screws or metal screws to secure the base onto your desk and select the appropriate length for the screws depending on the material and thickness of the desktop surface.

A: I looked up the specs for your camera on Amazon, and found this: There is no way to connect an external audio source. The only audio option is the on-board mic....which is not bad, but not something you'd want to use for most productions...especially live streaming. I suppose it would be possible to crack open the handle near the mic, disconnect the on-board mic and rig up some kind of direct connection, but I've never tried it. It's a great camera...lots of options for people like me who live in the SD/HD world. But, when it comes to recording quality audio for video productions, I have to use a separate mic and audio recorder and then sync it up with the video in post. Not fun, but it works! So, there you go. No external audio possibility on your camera. Sorry for the bad news, but hope this helps. Stephen

A: Yes, I use the ECM-AW4 with my Sony HDR-CX760 and it works great. Just use the mic input on the side of the camera.

A: any mic that does not require power, or has its own power source. I have added a rode shotgun mic with its own battery and it worked real well. I have a radio shack lav with internal battery and that works will too. I also have a lav that is dynamic and that works too.

Q: 7. Can you use multiple (+4) SonyECM-AW4 Bluetooth Wireless Microphone System in same room?

A: I have only used one paired set and in such can't answer this question for using 4.However, my advise is to have sender and receiver facing each other for good quality. If the body conceals the microphone set quality deteriorates significantly.Best have it fixed under your dress, but facing the camera/receiver.
