Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What are the height and depth of the insert?

A: Dimensions 5.75 x 7.0 x 6.75" / 14.6 x 17.78 x 17.14 cm

Q: 2. I don't see the USA flag on the pictures, so I'm wondering if this one is now Made in China?

A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is USA. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.

Q: 3. Can the optional FA-226 insert be used together with the 4 compartment insert that ships with the bag? (Both inserts in the bag at the same time in other words)

A: Yes the FA-226 Insert will be compatible with this case just fine. I checked the Domke site, and it said it will fit fine.

Q: 4. Is the shoulder strap replaceable? Some of the photos show a connectable snap-buckle, and others seem to show a sewed-in strap. It almost looks like the connectable buckle is for the hand strap, but the sewed-in connection is for the shoulder strap. But I'm not sure; the photos don't show it very clearly. Thanks.

A: Of course the strap is replaceable. Just cut the stitching on the old strap and remove it. Then buy a new gripper strap, thread it through the loop, and anchor (lock) it with the 2" plastic buckles. If you have a sewing machine, you can sew the ends similar to the original, but it is not necessary.

Q: 5. Would the bag hold the Sony A6100 with 16-50MM lens, grip all sitting in landscape configuration. Not flat?

A: Yes the Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller RuggedWear Shoulder Bag is large enough for the A610o with battery grip attached and the Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens attached in landscape. (not flat).

Q: 6. Would this fit a Z9 with 24-120 attached and 300PF and other misc stuffs?

A: The Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Sand) could accommodate the Z9, the Z 24-120mm lens, and the 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens, but not with a lens attached to the camera. There would almost no room left with those three items in the bag.

Q: 7. I just bought a 128RC QR Micro Fluid Head, and while the manual depicts the quick release locked position full left, my locking lever will not go that far. While this seems adequately secure, I am curious if the accessory plate is too large for this head, or if this is a normal situation?

A: First, be sure the camera mount plate is in the tripod head the correct way--it should lug in to the front first, then snap down in the back. As long as the camera is secure, the lever may not push all the way left--that's OK Just push it tight and make sure the camera doesn't slip out--pick up the camera from the top along with the tripod to be sure it is secure.

Q: 8. Is the F6 currently made in USA?

A: Yes, the Domke F-6 is made in the USA.

Q: 9. After the solution is mixed, how long is the shelf life? Also, how many times can a batch-size working volume be re-used?

A: Arista Arifix Powder Fixer (To Make 1 gal) will last about six months once mixed. If fixer smells like sulfur (rotten eggs) it is no longer useful, too much film has gone through the fixer.

Q: 10. I see folks saying their iPad mini will fit in the back pocket...but has anyone fit an iPad Pro in there?

A: An iPad mini will fit in that pocket.

[Snow] I have gotten into the habit of upgrading the clips, but they have never let me down. Doing Action Sports I need to get whatever I need wherever I shooting from. The Length allows cross-body use, that also where that Extra-Thick Padding is worth it's weight in Gold! I use these with Porta Brace Gear Bags, Pelican Cases, Tripods, you name it!

[9 lb] I don't normally write reviews, but this fixture blew me away and I wanted to let other people know about it. This is built like a tank (even has die-cast yokes), is super compact, and the light output it unreal! This thing is super punchy and has an amazing throw. I had the older Blizzard Fab 5's and those were very nice, but these smoke the original Fab 5 in build quality and output. If I had one TINY complaint it's that the Fab 5 had a little bit better color mixing, but I will gladly trade that for all of the other improvements.

[9 lb] It holds 6-7 cards plus 4-5 notes. Easy to access any card you need while keeping the overall thickness very low. Like the design.

[Snow] I have owned Blizzard lighting in the past and although I don't use their lighting fixtures I DO use their wiCicle Transmitters to connect my lighting software dongle to my lighting fixtures. I have tried many of the cheaper versions available on Amazon and elsewhere only to find out that they don't have a reliable and steady connection to the fixtures. The official Blizzard wiCICLE transmitters seem to communicate better and last longer. Yes they too are made in China but perhaps with some better components. They also made an improvement when changing the color frequency it is now a button rather than having to take a paperclip or bobby pin in the hole. I hope this helps!

[Snow] I do weddings and corporate events, and I could not be happier with these lights. As far as set-up goes, these could not be easier, as I just place these where ever I want in the room (uplighting, wall/ceiling, centerpiece, whatever), and since they are wireless AND battery, it's super fast and easy. Plus, these things have an incredible amount of light output for their size. The batteries last a LONG time (I have run these over ten hours, and they still had juice left). Build quality is excellent and well worth the money. One small complaint is that one of the black knobs on the yoke section broke (still usable), but I called Blizzard and they sent me TWO replacement knobs just in case I had an issue with one of the other lights (I have 8 of these and I am looking to get more).
