The AMT S18-5C Wi5IIC Wireless System with S18C Cello Micfrom AMT S18-5C Wi5IIC Wireless System with S18C Cello Miccomes with the ZRIII multi-channel dual UHF Receiver and the Wi5IIC plug-on transmitter. The system can be completed by adding any AMT microphone for wireless, belt-pack free instrument miking.

The included ZRIII dual receiver allows for up to two microphone/transmitter combos to be used with it at a time. It includes two XLR balanced outputs (channels A & B) on the back panel for discrete routing of each channel into your mixer. In addition, channel A also has an unbalanced 1/4" output. The receiver also employs an automatic frequency scan feature for quickly finding the band with the strongest available signal.

The Wi5IIC plug-on transmitter can power and attach to any AMT microphone for wireless miking of guitars, saxophones, trumpets and more. The transmitter includes a lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a charge life of up to 8 hours of continuous use. It also features a lit LCD display for visibility on stage, an on/off button for saving battery life during breaks as well as a mute button.

A: While the quality is Sennheiser quality and should be as good, bear in mind this system only allows for the transmitter to broadcast the signal to one receiver. Which means if you have more than one speaker, you’ll need a separate wireless set for each speaker.

[<±30 ppm] We use this mic inside our grand piano with the cover closed. Set up is so easy - we can leave it inside and just attach the XLR cable to the external box, mounted on the dolly. And the sound is excellent - much better than the mic on a boom with the cover partly open. Because the lid is closed, there is much less unwanted sound from the rest of the band. Overall, an excellent product. 5

[UHF 600-930 MHz] Great quality sound, easy setup and use. Doesn't get in the way. Easy to move between my tenor and alto without any wires hanging anywhere. Compared the sound to DPA 4099, which I thought lacked a little bit of the body of the tenor sax sound. Returned that and kept the AMT. seems like this is the best. Full wireless and no body pack is great, but you do have the transmitter on your bell which some may not like the look of. It's light though, so you don't fee it or notice. 5

[<±30 ppm] This is an outstanding microphone for micing a closed lid on a grand piano. While we don't need a microphone to enhance the sound in the church sanctuary it is needed to supply sound to monitors and the streaming signal. We have been using the M40 for several years and when the old one failed we immediately purchase a new one. 5

[5 dBuV] I love my cello lights - the design, the flexibility, the power. All I needed was a soft box and Luxli nailed it with this design. Great light spread through the diffusion, the silicone soft box is super durable and acts as a protector to the light, and with the easy pop-out design I can install this thing in about 5 seconds. Love it. If you own a cello this is a must have. 5
