[1.875 lb] Love this belt, great quality plastic parts and fabric. I have a Small Newswear weatherproof pouch attached to this belt, which I normally sport as a sling for my X100V, phone, wallet, and maybe an extra battery. I have plans to acquire more pouches for other accessories in the future!


This isn't my first Newswear product and it won't be my last. They are one of my favourite producers of high-quality photo goods. Nothing but good things to say.

[55" (140 cm)] I liked it so much, that I purchased a second one for my other tamrac camera pouch. The 1 1/2 inch width is more comfortable and looks better than the wider belts.

[1.875 lb] Great item. I am in the field everyday for eng camera use. U can use it as a fanny pack or a shoulder bag. Perfect for a few batteries , mica, and other everyday run and gun shooting needs!

[1.875 lb] As a former news photographer, I know if you don't have it with you, you can't use it. So right after the camera,tripod,camera batteries, stick mic., Lav mic.,cables,spare tapes,batteries,wireless mic transmitter Leather-man, Gaffers tape,Skittles,pens,paper,labels,PDA,& flashlight. The next thing you need is a bag to put them in.When I saw the price of the PB-3 I was kinda shocked, I think I paid $100 for my last Porta Brace bag about 10 years ago. so I begrudgingly paid $ for this new one. ... I looked it over & found it was nothing like my old bag. The Zippers are heavier duty, The design looks the same but inside there are customized pockets for all your stuff, I was looking for an instruction sheet explaining all the pockets. there is even a LED light strip in the pocket for finding things at night & it flips out like a safety flasher, so you can be seen at night.or at least know that whoever ran you over meant to. so in closing... The belt pack is FANTASTIC! the only thing I can think of, that I would change or modify is the fact that the equipment pouches are not locked into position on the belt. Still, I am very happy with my purchase.

[1.875 lb] I have the FStop Tilopa and Anja. I wanted to try the X50 because of the pockets, side access and roll top plus every review said comfort. I load my packs and at 31 pounds it was fine with std hip and shoulder pads. After 5 hours it was not as fine. I wanted to add the HD belt and plus backpack straps and wow what a difference. Padding is double the tilopa and it feels so nice. Worth the money if packing heavier gear. I normally add a second tripod and snow shoes so loving that I got these. I also like the HD pockets and the ability to velcro the belt together a little larger so the pockets are at my sides and the padding sticks better to my hips. I also use the spider pro clip Allen wrenched on to the bottom pad behind the pocket on the waist belt. Now hiking longer I can have my 200-600 in that spider clip and hands are free at my sides. Perfect setup. The roll top also allows more room to put jackets and clothing than the tilopa. My tilopa will be used with two cubes for astro hatchback with video on top and astro camera on bottom.

[1.875 lb] As usual, PortaBrace has done it right. Also included (but not listed in the description) is a blue strip light that takes AA batteries. It only comes on one of the pouches, but nevertheless it's very cool. Not only does it stay solid, but it also has a flash option. The light can be folded outside the pouch, acting as a warning light, should you be in a rough spot. It appears it's designed for Gold Mount bricks, but can be adjusted for V Mount. I've bought a lot of PortaBrace products, this is one of my favorites!

[Nylon] Love this. Its hard to change lens when you shooting at fast environment like wedding. Having lens beside makes life easy.

[1.875 lb] It's a Porta Brace so it's well made, but with the name you do pay for it. I make my living filming on the road and this product makes my life easier. The build is strong and durable. The Belt keeps everything tight without constricting. The only flaw is the zippers jingle, but this was fixed with a couple Velcro cable straps. Bottom line if you need to keep your gear close by, and be able to wear it all day long this product will do the trick and you'll never need another. Truly well made.

[1.875 lb] Newswear tried and true, field tested gear . Replaced my Digital Chest Vest with Press Pouch belt system. I put my gear through some adverse conditions in extreme environments and have never been let down.
