The Link Electronics SMPTE 310 Serial Digital Distribution Amplifier restores the incoming signal to its proper amplitude. The signal is reshaped with automatic equalization, re-sliced, and DC restored. This amplifier offers 6 outputs on the rear panel.

A fault LED on the front panel of the amplifier indicates that the input signal level is below a pre-set threshold. A power LED indicates that the amplifier is running at a proper voltage.

The SMPTE 310 Serial Digital Distribution Amplifier accepts composite 143 Mb/s, 177 Mb/s, component 270 Mb/s, 16:9 aspect ratio 360 Mb/s standards, SMPTE 310, and ASI. The signal is transparent to the incoming signal data rate. You can adjust the output level from the front panel. This compact amplifier is suitable for portable operation or fixed studio use.

[14 x 11 x 6"] This pushes HDMI signal just right for me. Had two 100' runs for this to 2 monitors with no artifacts or loss of color or clarity. It had a 100' run from the switcher so 200' no issues. Perfect little box and man are they pricey though for 1x2. 5

[>15 dB] I bought this to replace a dying switch. It is everything I hoped it would be. It solved three separate troubles we had with power switching on end devices. Device on or off caused Mac to loose its display config. The switch blocks the signal with EDID. Will definitely consider Kramer for future needs. 5

[800 to 1,000 mV] I use this unit to split signal from IPAD2 or Laptop or DVI visualizer into separate monitors as well as an HD video mixer. This unit was the only splitter I found that would split the signal and do the HDCP handshake with my mixer. 5
