The black HoldFast Gear Camera Leash Water Buffalo Blackby HoldFast Gear Camera Leash Water Buffalo Blackis a 15.3" camera attachment strap made of Water Buffalo leather that has a split ring on one end and a D-ring on the other. When paired with an optional harness, this leash allows you to carry a third camera when working a busy event or strenuous location shoot. The Leash can serve as a camera wrist strap or a key ring, and is compatible with a diverse amount of HoldFast gear. Clip the split ring into an optional Holdfast Accessory Clip, or the Money Maker Harness, or tie to the Leather Photo Belt. A nickel plated D-ring allows you to further accessorize this strap with attachments like the Leather HF Triple Bag.

Although some photos may show silver colored hardware; the manufacturer has switched over to black hardware. Therefore your Camera Leash will arrive with black hardware.

Attach two leashes to an optional Money Maker Harness in order to secure a third camera to the harness, and secure more Leashes onto various D-rings to hold extra gear like accessory pouches.

Slide one end of the leash through the D-ring and attach to an optional Holdfast Accessory Clip to wear your camera on a wrist strap.

Fold the strap into a key ring and wear your keys on any photo belt, including the HoldFast Photo Belt.

A: No, the Peak Design Anchor Mount included with the Peak Design Leash Camera Strap is not compatible for use with the mount on the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip v3. Peak Design states that the anchor mount is only designed to be used if you are not using Capture or a tripod; the anchor mount is not Arca-compatible.

[Leather] I use this leash as a wrist strap for my DSLR and attach it using a locking camera screw, rather then the split ring attachment system it comes with. By having the strap attach at the bottom (tripod mount) it does not interfere with the way I hold the camera and is personally more comfortable. The bonus to this is that the product also looks great! As a wedding photographer I needed something that was suitable for formal occasions and black is that classic colour.I have had this product over a month and used it many times and for various durations and I love it! I am completely satisfied with my purchase! 5

[0.25 lb] Great little leash/strap I've used regularly with a Sony Nex-7. It's nice as a wrist strap when I'm travelling or out with the family. I've used two Camera Leashes to attach the Nex-7 as a third body on my MoneyMaker. Simple and classic. 5

[Leather] So well made. Attractive. I've attached it with the Holdfast 1/4 thingy to my Leica D-Lux6. Now, I can have it dangle at my wrist from the bottom of the camera without fear of it dropping since it's a looping system. It was expensive though. More of a luxury and not a necessity. But, it's pretty sweet and feels great. 5
