Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a Canon battery plate available?

A: Unfortunately we do not have a Canon battery plate available for this monitor. Keep in mind this kit does come with a Sony NP-F style battery and charger.

Q: 2. How do I scale image up to fit screen? I have a Canon 6d, and I am getting a black border around my whole image in Live view, but not on playback. In other words, when I am recording video the image is smaller than the size of the Monitor, but when I playback it's full screen. I tried cycling through the different views by pressing INFO on the camera, and also paid with different aspect rations on the screen.

A: Honestly, I have the same problem. In fact, I've just been assuming I was doing something wrong. Now, with your question, I see I'm not alone. I wish I could offer you help. It makes me want to research it further, however. Sorry.

Q: 3. is this monitor compatible with sony z100 at 4k 60fps?

A: I cannot say exactly, but it will plug into a HDMI connection on your camera. The 60fps is your frame rate, as in trying to shoot slo-mo? No monitor will show slo-mo as it is a function of your editing frame rate. That means, you will have to download the video, say at its normal frame rate of 23.98, 29.97 or 30fps and edit it into your timeline. Then you can play it back in slo-mo.

Q: 4. Can I switch to through the viewfinder if I want? Is it compatible with the Sony A7iii?

A: The Elvid FieldVision 4KV2 7" On-Camera Monitor is compatible with the Sony a7 III Mirrorless Camera when using a micro HDMI Type D to full size HDMI Type A cable.

Q: 5. What is the input voltage range and current draw?

A: Thie monitor has a DC Input Power range from 7 to 24 VDC. The Power Consumption is rated at 8 W (Maximum).

Q: 6. What tripod or independent support could I get to use with this?

A: This monitor has a 1/4"-20 thread under it for mounting. The popular option would be to use a Mini Tripod such as B&H # MAMTPIXIEVOB which has a 1/4"-20 stud and 5.5 pound load capacity. https://bhpho.to/2nLFvHx

Q: 7. What type of V mount battery would this monitor accept with the plate adapter?

A: The included plate adapter is not a battery mount. The plate adapter is used to mount a v or gold mount battery plate on to the monitor itself. So the choice is yours.

Q: 8. Will this monitor stretch the DSLR signal to fill the screen?

A: I do not use it with a DSLR, but I think I read in the manual that it will stretch it.

Q: 9. Can I use this monitor with a Canon c100?

A: Yes you can. You will just need a standard HDMI to HDMI cable to connect the camera to the monitor. https://bhpho.to/2gKgeyu

Q: 10. Does this monitor have a waveform?

A: No, unfortunately while this monitor does have many great features such as false color, peaking and even adjustable color temperature, it does not include waveform. In this price range, if you really want waveform, I would opt for B&H # DEDELVWFORM7, that has waveform.

[0.645 lb] I use this arm with my Marshall monitor that I attach to a shoe mount or a mafer clamp that attaches to a tripod leg. It's a couple inches longer than the other inexpensive Ikan arm which attracted me. And it's only $5 more. I can also use it with a camera light.

[0.645 lb] I use it to hold up an external 8.9 Manhattan LCD monitor, and it holds up well. The monitor is pretty big and I'm actually surprised at how well the arm holds it up. In my case, I need a nano clamp to attach it to my tripod, because the arm and monitor are a bit to much for the hot shoe on my 7D.

[1/4"-20 Male ] I needed an articulating arm to mount my Marshall 7 LCD screen to my Manfrotto tripod. Since we are doing allot of pans and camera set ups with our video rig, I wanted the LCD screen held in the steady position so that the director of the video production could easily view the screen from any angle. This product got the job the done and more. The articulating arm can also be mounted on the camera to hold lights, microphones or other accessories. It is so easy to mount on the tripod legs with the adjustable clamp and adjust it for any angle or height for viewing. In addition the cost was about half the price of another brand....

[1/4"-20 Male ] For it's size and price this is a absolutely great articulating arm. I've never had it slip and it supports a fair amount of weight

[3] A 7 Elvid on camera monitor I bought had a ball head that did not fit my camera hot (cold) shoe. This arm was recommended for use with both the monitor and for a camera skate I purchased earlier. Two allow me to monitor the image the video camera is seeing from about 7' closer to the subject than to the camera.
