The Tether Tools Rock Solid VESA Monitor Mount for Tripodsfrom Tether Tools Rock Solid VESA Monitor Mount for Tripodsis a suitable method for mounting small- to medium-sized monitors onto a tripod or Arca-compatible system. With built-in VESA-compliant receptors, the Go Vu allows you to mount any 75 x 75mm or 100 x 100mm VESA-compatible monitor.

The mount is best suited to mount field monitors for video, tethered photo shoots, simple photo booth setups, wedding and event slideshows, and client presentations. Designed to be easy to install, the mount can easily transpose from stand to desk mounting when needed.

If you need to mount an Apple iMac and/or a Cinema Display, a special adapter plate is required.

[4.2 oz (119 g)] I was looking for something like this to give to high school students to conduct oral history interviews. Found these on sale at the right time. With multiple ¼-20 mounting points, it is easy to fit the space available. 5

[0.75" (1.9 cm)] I am not one for shooting anything on an iPhone I plan to publish. However having two Nikon early FX cameras. The GPS attachment might be worth more than the used value of the GPS unit(s). So a trick I learned here on the B&H forums pays off. When I change a Geographic locations I just take a shot, with my iPhone, in that area after about 10 min. Once imported into Light Room the other photos can be associated to the iPhone Geotag Data. Finding no joy in dropping my Phone I got this and attached it to a Purpose Built Handle which was designed for threading into Lens L brackets when a Tripod or Monopod just isn't fast enough or practical... 5

[4.2 oz (119 g)] I have had this installed on my iMac for over a year now and it has been working great. This adapter has a firm grip on the iMac stand. It’s strength and stability are centered around the “power cable” pass through hole in the iMac stand. By supporting the iMac from its own stand, you are still able to adjust the tilt of the screen with Apple’s hinge; and now you are able to vesa mount the iMac. I use this mount in addition to a vesa to baby pin mount, (from Manfrotto), to securely mount my iMac to my DIT cart. The iMac sits on the cart’s top self; but all the rigging keeps it firmly and safely attached during transport to and from gigs. I recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their iMac safely mounted to stands and carts that are strong enough to support them. 5

[0.75" (1.9 cm)] I was a bit skeptical about this but have to say it works really well. I have an old tripod that I've set up with a top for my tethered laptop during shoots and the tripod roller just makes it so much easier to move things around as I adjust my shots. Design is more compact than I expected (which is good) and comes with a nice case for storage and transport. Quite happy with it so far. 5

[0.5 lb] this is a great tool, and legs extend even more than is shown, or seen in this image. Holds most of my tripods firmly. The will be exceptions with my larger tripods, but I use electrical ties to sere them in snugly. 5
