A: No it will not. The EX-507XD works with the PRO-XD transmitter and most mobile devices when plugged into the headset port, but will not work with other Azden transmitters. For the 15BT you should purchase either the EX-503L or EX-50L microphone.

However it does not work with Sennheiser wireless system since they have a proprietary locking pin, so when buying lavs for Sennheiser systems it either needs to be made buy Sennheiser or for Sennheiser.

A: Yes, you can use the MM-ML with the Tascam DR-40. Use a Rode VXLR+ 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter with Phantom Power Converter (B&H #ROVXLRP) to convert the mic's 3.5mm plug to XLR as well as to convert 48V phantom power from the recorder into low voltage plug-in power suitable for the microphone.
