A: I have used both batteries successfully with my Olympus OMD EM1 camera for over a year. The Watson battery voltage is acceptable to the EM 1 camera is all I can say. Most household appliances are stated as being designed to be 120v, but operate just fine as long as the voltage is somewhere between 110 and 130. Maybe the same applies here?The Olympus batteries do seem to afford a little long life after a full charge, but it's very negligible.

Q: 6. I don't see any reviews, how well does this compare to the OEM battery?

A: I have several Watson batteries and they work just as good as the name brand. They last a long time, don't get hot, and are very reliable. Watson DMW-BLK22 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (2250mAh) is a new battery and we don't have reviews for it yet but you can lookup other Watson batteries on our site and you will be able to read many reviews on them.

[0.12 lb] The �original Panasonic Battery DMW-BCJ13E is very expensive and I have purchased several off brands over the years. There are features in the Lumix DMC-LX5 that most off �brands do not activate on the camera. The most ironically is the battery charge Icon on the display screen and a message comes up that battery is . This battery his just like original and I have my battery power icon back. Going to purchase more. 5

[Lithium-Ion] I've found that it performs as well as the Panasonic brand, for a fraction of the cost. It's a wait and see on the overall life expectancy, but at this price it is easy to have 2-3 spares which can be necessary for such a small battery. I use this in my GX-7 that I carry about when I can't have a full size gear. 5

[0.12 lb] Less expensive than Panasonic battery and works as well. It shows the remaining battery life with my LX5 which most other non-Panasonic batteries don't. I was going to buy a Panasonic battery, but they were out of stock, and I could't wait. I'm glad they were. 5

[3.6 VDC] PURCHASED FOR THE LUMIX LX5 NOW DISCONTINUED. HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY GETTING THIS BATTERY IN TOKYO, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AND B&H HAD IT. THE CAMERA IS USELESS WITHOUT A BATTERY AND IS AN EXCELLENT CAMERA WITH A BEAUTIFUL LEICA LENS. MANUFACTURERS SHOULD PROVIDE FOR EXTENDED USE OF THEIR CAMERAS. 5
